Amazing resort set in a picture perfect Tuscan setting. Very calm and quiet resort with understated elegance and class. Service was off the charts good, friendly, eager and attentive. This place is truly amazing. The hotel used to be an entire village in the year 1100, yes 1100. Rooms surround a quaint church, well, and other gorgeous original buildings. Obviously... More

Unbelievable experience. Wonderful staff, fabulous food, and incredibly comfortable environment. Didn't have an opportunity to try the spa but couldn't be disappointing . Loved every single moment of time we spent at Borga La Bagnaia. We were there to visit Siena and celebrate our 44 years of marriage. Unforgettable!!!!!,

We stayed for several nights when we were with a tour group. The room we had was large and very comfortable & nicely decorated. The grounds (a lot of grounds) are very well tended and nicely landscaped. The pool area very relaxing, water was chilly but we were there late September but it was relaxing to sit by the pool... It has been passed a year since I spent a long week end at La Bagnaia Resort, sleeping at Borgo La Filetta. Location, golf course, staff kindness, food, spa... everything is just perfect but the distances between facilities are considerable. Borgo La Bagnaia (5*Hotel), Borgo La Filetta (4*Hotel w/o reception), 18Holes course by Nicklaus and Spa are far 1 or... More

I stayed at the Borgo La Bagnaia on business in June. I was raveling alone. The property is stunning and beautiful, but very remote. This means the ground are very quiet, but it also means isolation (no tourist services, no shopping, limited meals and no walking to sights). A car is required to go anywhere (even the edge of the... I really like it for the beautiful view and roomy surroundings. Rooms are large with walk in closets. I did not like their restaurant that much and as a result of isolated location there is nowhere else to go near by. The bottom line: it is very good and different from the other hotels and I would stay there again

Spent a weekend in Borgo la Bagnaia Hotel for a business convention, the hotel is more or less 15 minutes away from Siena. The complex is made by different buildings including a golf course and a spa (spa unfortunately not available during this period of time due to a fire). Rooms are of reasonable size even if the bed is... More

This isolated resort is a peacefu retreat (after a few days in Rome for us). Did not use the golf course, but the hotel was nicely decorated with some lovely antiques and the rooms of adequate size. However, an armchair in the room would have made it more comfortable. Gourmet restaurant was fantastic food, but at fantastic prices. The Tuscan... More

Not only is this hotel grossly overpriced it is in the middle of nowhere. Sitting at the bottom of a valley in the Tuscan hills the so called golf course is completely dried out, the long stretches of cemented walkways are baking in the heat making any trip to the restaurant and swimming pool torturous. Bee hives literally litter the... More

A really superb resort, originally a medieval noble 'borgo', luxurious ambiance, beautiful decoration, impeccable championship golf course (designed by Trent Jones), beautiful Tuscan surroundings. Good but slightly understaffed kitchen.
