we stayed 3 days in this hotel and we were really good. the place is fantastic, in the middle of the Sienese countryside yet convenient to reach Siena and other towns. The rooms are very large and very clean. The owner cia has received very good and recommended good restaurants to visit. Breakfast was not super but it was fine.... More

If you really want to be in a real tuscany setting with amazing views, this is it. Great value, spacious comfortable cottage type villas. good breakfast. No internet or tv in rooms but in the reception. Beautiful indeed. Dont panic as it is far from Siena and signals to get there are not good. It is worth the driving anxiety,... More

Dear M. Lidubina We are very grateful for your review. We are very happy that you have appreciated the real tuscany atmosphere. We are at nine km from Siena . Concerning the road from Siena there is no problem until three km to the resort . In effect is not well lighted , even if the road signs are exactly... More

Stayed 1 night in Villa San Lorenzo not far from Siena. The villa is a beautiful building with a lot of history and character. Our apartment was spacious and very functional. We had everything we needed: fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, a bit tired but functional bathroom. Every second spent in this apartment reminded us that we are in a... More

This was one of our favorite places to stay on our 2011 Europe trip. My partner and I called in for one or two nights from memory and extended it for another night. It was not just San Lorenzo itself but also the local restaurants (real gems) and surrounding countryside. Rates are very good and this is backed up by... More

We spent one night at the San Lorenzo a Linari Resort & Beauty Farm and wished it had been at least two. Originally slightly put off by the second half of the name, San Lorenzo is actually an interesting and historical property. Halfway between a rich farm and a grand country house, it is attractively furnished with antiques and represents... More

We spend 8 days at Linari for my parents 45th wedding anniversary and we booked 3 rooms. We were 3 couples with kids and my parents We spent 3000 euros for 1 week The location is great, BUT it could be much better to make it a good experience. I came back from Tuscany with a ''sour'' feeling and I... More

We spent several days here on two occasions. The earlier visit was ten years ago, which was an essentially magical experience. Other reviews have observed that things were maybe less scrubbed than one would expect in the neighborhood of a tony town like Siena. For ourselves, though, we had no real expectations in that respect. It was, I think, a... More

A few miles out of Siena, this is a wonderful quiet place. Kids really enjoyed the pool. We did too, and great views of the countryside. Lots of guests from different countries, pleasant people to task with. We only got to stay one night, but would like to stay longer.

Unfortunately, it is only dissapointing stay during our 16 days trip, even though location is perfect, building has nice atmosphere, area is spacious and well maintained. But, in comparing with other hotels and B&Bs, services at entry desk were absolutely the worst. Hotel promises that staff can speak English, unfortunately does not (at least gentleman who we met). Receptionist cannot... More
