From the moment I set foot in this stunning hotel, I was in love! The quirky layout, the Moorish influences in the decor and architecture, the warm welcome, the delicious food...flawless! I had a beautiful suite overlooking the Plaza Espana in the centre of Vejer. It was clean and fresh, nicely decorated and a perfect base from which to explore... More

This hotel and it's restaurant are located right smack in the middle of Vejer on Plaza Espana. You cannot imagine what you will find and experience inside as you are standing outside the hotel door. Once you cross into the lobby, the magic starts! Tile floors, small stair cases that lead to different levels and rooms, decor that is ethnic... More

This hotel was so good that we are coming back again this year which reminded me to write a review. Nothing to fault. We had a huge room overlooking the restaurant which was candlelit and beautiful. The hotel cat was a definite bonus for me. Old school interiors and an excellent breakfast.

La Casa del Califa, situated in the the medieval quarter of Vejer de la Fronteras. The rooms are all different and a bit quirky, like a riad of Morroco. The staff friendly and helpful. The surprise is the great resturant, not to be missed. It is also ideal place from which to explore the atlantic Costa de la Luz.

We stayed here as a family for 4 nights. It was a beautiful little hotel with a Moroccan theme and fantastic views of the surrounding landscape. The rooms were cosy and clean. Brilliant water pressure in the showers. A delicious breakfast with lots of selection to choose from. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening and the meat... More

We went to the Califa on a recommendation from friends and found it very comfortable with a wonderful view from the room that we had (at the back) looking out over part of the town an beyond towards the coast. Room 12 was not an expensive room and had the same view as the more expensive suites. We loved it... More

Excellent location, parking just a few minutes away (fees apply). We dropped off the luggage at the hotel, then brought the car to the garage, very convenient. We stayed in the "Palmera" room facing Plaza de Espana; the room is fantastic (one high flight of stairs to go up, but not a problem) and the view is gorgeous. Possibility to... More

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, we extended our visit and there was no problem .The hotel is in the middle of the town but a short car journey brought... More

We've been going to this hotel for the past four years and it never disappoints. Although it does not have a pool and the rooms are very small and quirky, it is totally made up for the stunning terraces and fantastic restaurant. Staff are extremely friendly and the beaches are about 20 mins away. We only stay for one night... More

The city of Vejer de la Frontera is very beautiful... it seems like a morrocan city in the middle of Europe... it´s a very beautiful region. The hotel is very good, the room size and the bathroom ... i like to emphasize that, because for us, non-europpean (Im brazilian) most of the europeans hotels are very small... and this one... More
