A moorish labyrinth of rooms, stairs, restaurant, roof top bars, terraces and secret snugs. I loved this hotel and as I was staying with a large group I managed to see a few rooms. All of the rooms are tastefully decorated, comfortable with stunning views across the valley to the sea and some look into the pretty little square. Breakfast... More

We enjoyed our first stay so much that we decided to return. We asked for the same room (12) which is ideal for a couple and has spectacular views from the terrace outside. We stayed 2 nights and ate in the restaurant on the Sunday which was excellent. There is a lot of history around the old town in which... More

This is the most wonderful small hotel this side of Cadiz. I stayed for 7-days in April and the place is so relaxed and easy going with engaging and attentive staff. A fabulous indoor/outdoor restaurant in the courtyard serving Spanish and Moroccan cuisine. A very atmospheric place to stay. Free car park at the bottom of the hill. Just set... More

The town of Vejer de la Frontera is very charming with tiny streets and small shops, and the hotel was the icing of the cake. Very friendly and a smiling staff. Each room was unique and we even had a big terracce with a wonderul view. The restaurant served an excellenr dinner, and the breakfast was a treat. Stopping in... More

The view from our room (doble especial) was fantastic! Room is very cosy and the hotel is very charming. Breakfat was the best, with a lot of options and organic food. Nice stay in Vejer de la Frontera!

Our room (Nogal) had a neat little balcony overlooking the courtyard seating area of the restaurant and the white walls of the buildings on the hillside above us. Our bed was comfortable and our room nice-sized & well appointed & decorated. The bath could have used a 2nd towel rack (and shower a shelf for soap, shampoo & razor), but... More

From the moment I set foot in this stunning hotel, I was in love! The quirky layout, the Moorish influences in the decor and architecture, the warm welcome, the delicious food...flawless! I had a beautiful suite overlooking the Plaza Espana in the centre of Vejer. It was clean and fresh, nicely decorated and a perfect base from which to explore... More

This hotel and it's restaurant are located right smack in the middle of Vejer on Plaza Espana. You cannot imagine what you will find and experience inside as you are standing outside the hotel door. Once you cross into the lobby, the magic starts! Tile floors, small stair cases that lead to different levels and rooms, decor that is ethnic... More

This hotel was so good that we are coming back again this year which reminded me to write a review. Nothing to fault. We had a huge room overlooking the restaurant which was candlelit and beautiful. The hotel cat was a definite bonus for me. Old school interiors and an excellent breakfast.
