I regularly travel with work and normally book into your local travel lodge or premier inn. However on this occasion, being in the heart of Worcestershire and staying for a few days I chose to stay at the Angel Inn and could not have been happier with the warm, friendly service, comfortable room and tasty food. I arrived late and... more

My husband and I have recently spent a weekend at the Angel Hotel in Pershore and I would like to say what a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere. The surroundings were fantastic as was the food. On arrival we were showed to our room and staff even offered to carry our bags! The room was tastefully furnished with everything... more

Rooms were cheaply furnished, service in the restaurant was appalling. Had to change rooms three times because of noise levels. Menus were uninteresting. Not value for money, have stayed in cheaper bed and breakfast at much better value. Too much emphasis on the decor of the public areas and not sufficient attention paid to the rooms and facilities for residents.... more

We stayed in the Malvern for two nights. The only problem we had was that the lovely room was too hot - an unusually hot couple of days and the windows were painted up and un-openable. When we mentioned this, we were supplied with an electric fan, which sorted the problem out to a great extent. As we live on... more

Very friendly staff. Food not bad. Breakfast can be a bit healthier, but if you are into the full English, then that would be great. Noisy as room was just above the smokers area. WORST bed ever. Could not sleep due to age of mattress. more

Contrary to a few other reviews, I had a wonderful experience at The Angel Hotel. The Angel has much more to offer than a Travelodge. Character for a start... Fresh home cooked food, the riverside town of Pershore which is most pleasant. People with no imagination may prefer a Travelodge. I could not fault the staff... friendly and helpful and... more

The room rate was reasonable and they have obviously spent a bit of money of some of the rooms and public areas BUT.......it seemed to be run for the benefit of the staff and some long term contractors staying. We stayed in room 7 - INSIST ON CHANGING ROOMS IF THEY OFFER YOU THIS ONE FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR... more

the rooms were grubby the bathrooms old and dirty, showers broken dark and dismal extractor fan not working inadequate lighting. broken panes of glass. apparently the hotel is undergoing renovation we were not informed of this at time of booking. these rooms should not have been let out. the rooms bear no resemblance whatsoever to their web site. check first... more

We found this hotel on the internet, read the reviews and thought we'd give it a go. Went for the bank holiday weekend with my Husband, we chose a suite as the prices were good but not sure what makes something a suite. The room was not very big and nothing special. We have stayed in bigger travel lodges. It... more
