Beautiful building with exposed beams and traditional tasteful décor. The owners are absolutely LOVELY - collected us from the station, made us tea when we arrived and breakfast before we left - so lovely. The room was clean, bright and perfect with a comfy bed and towels and a great shower. No complaints whatsoever - it was fantastic. Excellent value... More

Stayed in a few B & Bs in the area and then found Arbour House. Have stayed many many times over a couple of years. Extremely friendly welcome from Rob and Liz. Warm and cosy rooms and an excellent breakfast with a choice of just about anything cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

We came here for a short break over new year to get away from London and had a wonderful time. Liz and Rob went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us lots of useful tips about places to visit and eat! The cooked breakfast was delicious and we were made to feel... More

A small B&B which includes two twin rooms (sometimes hard to find). This suited our two couples well. Everything was excellent and our hosts most welcoming and helpful. Bear in mind that it is a grade II listed building and tall people have to duck sometimes.

We stayed at Arbour House again this year. This time my 81 year old mother was with us. She loves the twin bedded room with its very comfortable chair. If she could figure out a way of getting that chair into her suitcase it would be gone. Speaking of suitcases, Liz and Rob always help with the luggage. This year... More

Stayed one night in room number 2. These premises have plenty of old world atmosphere and are very clean. The full English breakfast was more than adequate. I would recommend this location to anybody, but care must be taken for anyone with decreased mobility.

I've knocked about a tiny bit, and I do like my B&Bs, so this one was a bit of a shock to the system. Not only is it an amazing building, with oak beams and stacks of character, but the welcome from Liz and Rob was positively astounding. Never before have we had help with our bags, which was brilliant... More

A pleasant nights stay, which being on the old road (now no longer a through road), is quiet and almost free of traffic noise. The room, though small, was adequate for my nights stay and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice. I would use again.

A great find ! We had arranged a dinner with a group of friends and needed a guest house close to the venue. We "Googled" and found the Arbour. The Arbour House is a really great guest house, Rob and Liz made us feel very welcome right from the start and we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The... More
