Recently stopped at The Star Inn I have to say it was an extremely enjoyable stay- Lovely accommodation, attentive staff and delightful food would certainly return again soon Looks like the new management have put a considerable amount of both money and time into this venture to get it to the levels I received

Just popped in for a drink in the newly refurbished Star Inn Was made to feel most welcome with the fire being lite on arrival on a cold wet afternoon. Beer and wine excellent with prosecco buy the glass a real bonus. Look forward to returning in the near future.

This is a real pub and it has had a well deserved makeover. Three of went for dinner this week and the food was excellent. The beer was good as well! They do not, as yet (November 2015) have any accommodation, but it is planned for early 2016 and we shall certainly use it.

Superb refurbishment, We met Alistair who is a great bloke and works really hard as do the other staff. Lovely pint of Kronenburg and nice wine. We had the calves liver and fish and chips which was delicious. Keep up the good work!

In reply to the so called 'review' ..... this person failed to mention that they were removed from the premises by west Mercia police after returning to the star at 06.45 in the morning very drunk and with total disregard for other guests .

I have to say staff were excellent the management rudest people ever! Unable to give us a key to the room! There staff climbed in a second storey window to our room to let us in. No manners as came back to the room as forgot my purse and were evil to the person that walked me as he hadn't... More

Our recent stay at the Star Inn definitely had it's good and it's bad points! On the positive side; location was excellent, there was good parking facilities, one half of the proprietors were very friendly and accommodating (not sure the same could be said for the other half!). The restaurant was excellent, with good menu choices and high quality food.... More

Julie, Richard & Kevin offer a fantastic place to eat. I took my family there on Sunday and the service and food was of excellent quality and value. There was 9 of us and the food came piping hot and plenty of it too. Brilliant. So much so we are having our wedding reception there in June and are staying... More

This was a 2 night DB&B treat (added on to a weeks holiday). The two night stay had been purchased by my partner on e-bay and we were looking foward to the excellent food that we had read about on Tripadvisor! The pub is old and a little tired, but Julie, Richard and Kevin more than make up for that!... More
