Excellent hosts in a traditional house. Basic accommodation, take all possible precautions against mosquitoes, otherwise recommended. You will be part of real life and will be treated like a family member. Wonderful experience.

If you want to eat extraordinary Polynesian food then come here. If you want to sleep in a comfortable bed come here. If you want to stay in a clean home then come here. If you are expecting a 5 star resort then this is not the place for you. Ludo and Moyra will bend over backwards to ensure that... More

We spent 3 wonderful days in this pension, Ludo and Moyra provided us with a really warm welcome and shared with us their love for this beautiful island. The food is amazing, beds are comfy and everything is very clean. Strongly recommend this place!!

This pension is a bit in from the coast and not near the beach. I picked this place based on reviews and it is correct that Ludo and Moyra are excellent hosts. The pension is basic but clean and comfortable. The rooms have a shared bathroom, which means if they are fully booked, it's one bathroom for 11 people. Although,... More

I cannot say enough good things about Pension Ludo et Moyra! Though accommodations are quite simple, they are clean, bright and cheery. It's really the family (Ludo, Moyra and their two sons) that make the experience unforgettable! Ludo and Moyra are quite possibly two of the funniest human beings I've ever met. They speak very little English and I speak... More

I loved staying at Ludo and Moyras pension! They cooked amazing food and were so friendly. Leslie, who works there too, is the only one who really speaks English and she was so sweet to us. It was very fun eating meals with their family and experiencing their way of life. They were very accommodating and there were lots of... More

Ludo's pension offers individuals a great experience of a family in the remote island of Maupiti in the French Polynesia. Great Motu that Ludo and his family takes you to. On way you can snorkel with Manta Rays, once on Motu catch Vero (a type of local lobster), have lobster, cocunut bread with homemade syrup, steamed Parrot Fish, Shashimi Tuna,... More

Ludo and Moyra are amazing ! They are truly devoted to making the guests feel comfortable and enjoy their stay in marvellous Maupiti. Above all : they love their island, and are never tired showing it, fishing it, singing it, cooking it, diving it with their very lucky guests ! All with the easy-going sincerity and a sense of hospitality... More

We spent 5 nights here and we had a wonderful time. Ludo and Moyra are great hosts and they offer an authentic experience of living like the locals do on Maupiti. We will remember the home cooked meals, the local specialties, Ludo and Moyra singing in the boat during the ride to the motu, amazing motu picnic and their entire... More

Ludo and Moyra were absolutely wonderful hosts! Their hospitality was key to making the island come alive -- not only regarding things like manta ray viewing and the best spot on Motu Pitiahe for a day at the beach, but also after-dinner jam sessions on the guitar/ukulele, wonderful home-cooked meals (I'll never forget my first taste of fresh-caught varo), and...
