We stayed at Auira for one night only - the garden bungalow is just terrible. Like the french review below, we had issues with the fact that it is tiny, the bedroom is so small that it is impossible to open 2 suitcases and be able to walk around. We kept both of them in the bathroom. The bathroom has... More

It's truly a paradise. We spent 50 days on south pacific spanning french polynesia, cook islands, fiji and Pension Auira was the best place we experienced. The service was very friendly and the location is very beautiful. The bungalow where we stayed was very beautiful with big windows to the lagoon and you can see the main island also. For snorkeling you... More

The garden bungalows was decent--not the cleanest or nicest, but the location, food and... More

The Pension Auira is not a luxury resort, but if you want to have the real Polynesia with a taste of the original stuff, it is the place to go: small, bautifully placed at the beach, Edna and Guillaume host you as you would be members of the family, good kitchen, only Pension on a big motu (coral island), good... Location is perfect, you are in paradise. The view on Maupiti is unforgettable and the Motu is gorgeous. The food is really great and you will not be starving! So what? Our bungalow was not really clean, and not charming at all. Many details upset us. We never really felt so welcome and just a client and the service was... More
