I am a little confused by the address as we stayed with Rafael and Addis at Frocombe 236 . We had the room opening on the terrace which we loved. The food was delicious and Addis told me the secret of her coconut sauce for fish and shrimp.

I found this Place on the Cuban site Rent Cuban House as one of a handful of casas particulares, and thought it looked OK. I couldn't really tell from the small photos but it looked decent enough and the price was all right; 30 CUC a night for three persons. The three of us Went in a rented car from... More

Rafael and Adis were very friendly hosts and their casa particular is nicely located on a quiet yet central street. They hired a local taxi driver to take us around who also turned out to be charming. The breakfast and dinner we has was second to none - make sure you try the coconut fish! However when booking make sure... More

Hosts Rafael Y Adis can help with all aspects, and their staff are simply wonderful. Great room, and we ate breakfast and dinner there, and it was some of the best food on our trip - Baracoa is renowned for its fish with Licheta sauce - they delivered. Easy walking distance of all main sights - its in a side... More

We arrived at 8.30 p.m. The weather was awfull due to the heavy rainfall. Adis and Rafael gave us an overwhelming warm welcome, which we needed badly after a horrible trip coming from Camagüey. Our airconditioned room was very spacious with two comfortable kingsize beds. The shower with warm or hot water took away the troubles of that day. Although... More

I spent six nights and it was a perfect stay. Lovely hosts and family. Very hospitable, kind and used to having visitors. The housekeeper María is a real treasure and an excellent cook. The Laundry service she offered was as well perfect. The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortably furnished and have a private bathroom. Everything is very clean and... More

We were in Baracoa for two nights and I wished we had booked some more days in this pleasant little town. It is a pleasure to visit the old center, the curch with the 'cruz de la parra', the chocolat house and the casa de trova where a rural band produced pleasant carribean sounds, not only for the tourists but... On our visit to Baracoa, Cuba, last November, my girlfriend and I stayed at the house of Rafael Navarro Gallardo. The service there was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable; the terrace had marvelous view of the sea and the place was quiet and relaxing. The food was great, especially the fish in coconut milk which a typical dish... More
