We stayed there for 1 night, because there aren't many good options in Ruteng. It was mostly a bad place (and pretty expensive compared to Flores prices). The rooms are badly furnished and dirty, the bathrooms as well. The staff is not really friendly and the hotel is along the main road across Flores, so very noisy (from within as... More

Was only hotel available in high season. Rooms are quite big, but very noisy. You can hear the conversation of your neighbours. Bedroom is kinda clean, but bathroom is not. Has a little bit of warm water, very small boiler. But ok for one night.

I stayed here for a night and the 'double' room we were given was actually a room with two bunk beds in it. The room itself was tiny and smelt very musty and damp. The beds were very old with lumpy matresses. At night the room got very cold and I had to sleep in a fleece. The hotel itself... More

We only stayed here because anywhere decent was already booked out. This place is simply awful and made my skin crawl. The public areas and rooms are dingy and dirty, service lethargic at best and way overpriced. We booked a triple room with an extra bed which we had to request several times before a mattress was finally delivered to... More

Nothing has changed it seems. Same comment: crappy rooms, poor breakfast, helpful owner. I wonder if other hotels in Retung provide the same value. ? Try others first. I paid 250.000 for a room with a terrible washroom. Too much! Breakfast consisted of a pancake, no jam, no butter. In general, Retung is at the bottom of my list of... More

The rooms are not nice. Overpriced and dirty. We went there only see the rooms. Not nice. And we asked is it possible to use Wi-Fi. Yep it was but we needed to give 25 000! I understand that you have to pay something, but 25 000 is too much. Not nice place.

Receptionist staff very friendly, however the other workers had no enthusiasm what so ever. Breakfast was 2 pieces of toast with a cold fried egg... dont bother staying here... only highlight would be that the internet was fast.

We slept here when we planned to visit the cave in Ruteng, the place was good and is located near the town proper. We were shocked with the price because they got a high price even though it's low season. Since, we don't have any choice coz it was late in the evening. The guesthouse was good and clean. For... Rooms are small not very clean and very cold at night, comfort very basic, with only old mastress hard as wood in standard rooms, shared toilets and bathrooms with cold shower for 150 000 which is far too expensive. VIP room is better but the price of 300 000 is also far too high. Service is awfull. We asked the... More

This hotel is located high in the mountains. It's a wooden structure and hence freezing cold. The room I stayed in (10a) was 250,000 Rupia and promised hot water....there was none. The staff did let me shower in a different room but only after asking 4 times over 2 hours. The rooms are just stained dark wood and we were... More
