The hotel services are provided by the nunnery. It is a rather new complex of buildings. The rooms are sober but clean. People were friendly, but not very service oriented. The food at the breakfast was very basic, the blue band margarine quite raunchy. The doors close at 9pm, so a long night seems to be mandatory.

I think this is the best place to stay in Ruteng. Peaceful, clean and neat. Hot water is available as Ruteng is cool place. Feeling like going for retreat or meditation. There is chapel there. The nun take cares of the place. Due to strong wind at night, the electricity was on-off. So I slept early.

We stayed with our family in 2 rooms. There are different room sizes. We had a very small room with a small bathroom, but our 3 children had a huge room with a big bathroom. The breakfast is very simple. Beautiful surroundings, the garden is well maintained. Be aware that the gate closes at 9pm! Great value for money.

Wow, we really think this is the best place to stay in Ruteng. Clean, comfy beds, perfect pillows, hot shower, beautiful surrounds and lovely people. We woke to the Sisters singing sweet harmonies! Breakfast was good - bread, rice, egg, banana, tea and coffee. Thank you to the gorgeous Sisters for opening up your convent for tourists to stay. It... More

We stumbled upon this place with no reservation and got very nice rooms. This place is extremely affordable so we didn't expect much but our rooms were large, and clean. We didn't have hot water, which was a pity. Don't expect to sleep in as the chants in 5AM and the chickens at sunrise and throughout the morning won't allow... More

We loved staying at this clean, well-run and friendly hotel. The staff is very helpful and kind. The rooms were comportable, clean and very affordable. We arrived in the early evening to hear the nuns singing vespers in beautiful voices. this was the best hotel that we stayed in during our week in Flores. It is an experience that should... More

The Guesthouse is one building of a complex with other buildings such like a School, Sisterhood Buildings or a Church. The price for a room with twin beds and warm water is 220.000. breakfast is included and served from 6.00 to 7.30. It is realy quiet expect when schools out. and when the sisters are singing, which I found quite... More

Strongly recommend staying here. We stayed here on two separate occasions and both times we were treated so well. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are very clean, great shower, and breakfast was delicious.

Spotless. If you are looking for less expensive option to stay in Ruteng, this is your choice. I stayed here 1 night before my trip to Wae Rebo. The room was very tidy and very clean. The bed was comfortable. They have several room options (single, double, twin, etc). The room has nice bathroom with hot water. We had dinner... More

A review long overdue. Stayed for 2 nights here. We made the reservation beforehand and they have several room options: single, double, twin, and family room (or triple, can't remember). The price for twin (2 single beds) is actually a bit cheaper than double room (1 big bed). We called them to inform that we were arriving late & they... More
