We stayed at this B&B in June 2014 and it was nothing less than amazing.Pascal and Nancy are lovely hosts and we were made to feel at home from the day we arrived. The surrounding area was rich in natural beauty and the rooms were cosy and decor was simple & lovely. Breakfast and dinner was served in the dining... More

We stayed at the Chasteuil B&B in mid-June while we were exploring the Gorges du Verdon region. We had a wonderful stay, and can highly recommend the B&B. Pascal and Nancy were great hosts. We really enjoyed the meals (dinner and breakfast) shared with the other guests. Pascal made sure our boys (ages 13 and 10) were well-fed and included... More

The Chasteuil Inn was located near Castellane in the Gorges du Verdun region. The views were spectacular and we were charmed by the hospitality of our hosts, Pascal and Nancy. We enjoyed the convivial dining experiences with fellow guests from many countries. The food was very wholesome and we even had aperitifs made by Pascal. The experience was more like... More

Very nice couple who runs it. I really liked them. The views were wonderful. And the drive up to it was an adventure in itself. The rooms are small and basic. Nothing special Unfortunately it had rained a couple of days ago and the room we got was very humid which made the sheets really damp. They offered us a... More

We chose this B&B for a two-day stay at the Gorges of Verdon. We were lucky that Pascal and Nancy had decided to open the season with our booking! Driving up we could well understand the advice to "arrive during the day-time": the road up is steep, curvy and bumpy, must be scary during the wet and snowy period. The... More

The single lane road up to the village is no worse than many mountain roads, but it has the virtue of taking you to the end of the road, and there is where you want to be! No more traffic except the other hikers and travelers who amble by. Enjoy the pacific yet dramatic views of the mountains and the... More

This was one of my favourite bed and breakfast experiences yet. If you're the type of person who enjoys peace and quiet and places off the beaten path, GO! We considered splitting our time between Castellane, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, and Chasteuil. I'm so glad we didn't and instead spent the entire time here. It is the perfect place for unwinding. There's not... More

My boyfriend and I visited this B&B as part of a tour through Europe on our first holiday together. Nothing else in our trip came anywhere close to matching our stay here. The drive to the small hamlet where the B&B is situated is a little terrifying for the uninitiated! The owners advised us to arrive before dark and you... More

Charming, stone buildings and Pascal is such a wonderful host, who can give you good advice on what to see/do in perfect English. He is a terrific cook, also. If you are there on a Tues., you can enjoy a delicious meal w/locally grown products, including aperitif, wines, appetizers and dessert. Let him know in advance, if you plan to... More

The inn is at the end of a narrow and winding mountain road with few passing places. It is best navigated in a small car. My car is quite large and I suffered a few hair-raising moments. The owners advise arriving in daylight and I endorse this advice vigorously. The inn itself is delightful and the breathtaking views make the... More
