We stayed here the last days of our trip in Panama. It's a great alternative for staying in Panama City. You do need a car. Also the options for dinner are not so big. We would recommand to have dinner one night at the lodge and order pizza's from a nearby restaurant another time. We were suggested the Italian restaurant... More

Conrad owns a little jewel far from the hubbub of the big city. Our room was excellent, tastefully decorated and overlooked the pool. The hotel surroundings are calm, lush and beautiful, Breakfast is good, especially the fruit platter. Coconut lodge is, it must be said, rather far from the centre and taxis can be unwilling to drive that far or... More

I stayed at the Lodge for 10 days and it was truly worth the stay. Upon arrival at the airport, waiting for us was Conrad (Owner) greeting with us with a genuine warm welcome on the behalf of Panama. Upon arrival to our large clean room is where the gracious Host showed us just the beginning of his of this... More

We felt very welcomed by Conrad & were happy to stay at a place outside of the city. The backyard is very magical & there's plenty of places to sit outdoors. Some things to note - the new owner is not a chef & the meals were very simple and the room smelt a bit musty which is probably a... More

About 20 minutes out of the city in a residential area, the quiet of Coconut Lodge was bliss after two weeks of noisy hostels! We spent 4 days here and absolutely loved it. Conrad was a fantastic host: cooking us meals, playing taxi, and even giving us a local phone to use to contact him when we were out and... More

This is not my first time to Coconut Lodge but iti is the first time under the new owner. Conrad (owner) as created a relaxed welcoming feel for everyone who enters the gates of Coconut Lodge. Coconut Lodge sits at the edge of the forest. Every morning I would have my coffee and watch a troop of Spider Monkeys pass... More

We recently stayed with Conrad and the staff at the Coconut Lodge. We were treated like family from the time Conrad picked us up at the airport. He provided tips and what to see and arranged a local guide for the day. One day he dropped us off in the City to sight see and since our phone what not... More

It wasn't exactly easy driving after dark from Tocumen airport to the Coconut Lodge, and we soon found out that most visitors just get a ride from Polish owner, Conrad. He also acts as a one-man taxi service for his guests who are not quite as adventurous as we are, with a rental vehicle. The welcoming drink was nectar after... More

We decided to stay here to get away from the busy city... The place is great and beautiful scenery nice birds, a great pool especially if you have kids you would have it to yourself. Conrad is very hospitable and will make sure you have a great time. The rooms were big and very nice, the beds were comfortable. Conrad... More

Not sure about you, but staying outside the city and doing day trips was the way to go. Conrad went over and above to make sure we were looked after and the Coconut lodge is awesome. We had dinner there 2 out of the 3 nights and of course breakfast. Food was great and kicking back at the pool after... More
