Entranced by the lovely pictures, I booked this for a trip my newly-graduated daughter and I took through Europe. It was, for the most part, perfect. The location is serene---just outside the walled town of Seguret, it is absolutely peaceful and calm. The room was lovely---sadly, without a view, but it was very comfortable. The shower was a bit small... More

I hate to give this property a less than stellar review, but a couple points need to be mentioned to be fair. First the good - the hotel is cute and nicely located. The room was large and meticulously clean. The room had a rustic but comfortably modern feel. The bathroom was large and a with a nice shower and... More

Enchanting property. Lovely area. The hotel cash register (check-in, check-out, pay-the-bill area) is a very small area just outside the kitchen. We arrived VERY late at night due to a long drive, and getting lost in Aix, and arrived JUST before they were closing up for the night. The restaurant person in charge allowed us into our room. We were... More

Had a good dining experience with a colleague two years earlier and returned recently for lunch. We were seated in the lovely courtyard and ordered from a blackboard. The prix frix is the way to order in France- it gives you an opportunity to try a variety of relatively small dishes that offers value. My wife's vegetable soup was filled... More

For our trip to Provence in September, we were debating between a couple of pretty villages and gites to be based at. Someone from the TA forum asked me to look at La Bastide Bleue, in Seguret, called (justifiably) one of the prettiest villages in France. Good advice. What was not to like! We were not looking at 5 star,... More

We stayed two days at La Bastide Bleue which is about a half kilometer from the tiny town of Seguret. Our room was large and comfortable with stone walls and a fireplace. It was not in the main building which made it all the more private. Each morning we had petit dejeuner in the restaurant and could hear and smell... More

Only one other couple staying overnight so they gave us a HUGE room. But the level of service and the charming, cozy dinner with a super local Cote d'Rhone from Mourchon (just up the road) made the experience one to remember.

We enjoyed very much the place, the large and clean room, the free Wi-Fi and the breakfast served with unusual marmelades made by disabled persons from an association located in a neighbouring village. Clearly a very nice bed and breakfast !

We stayed here for one night and loved it. Our room was huge, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The only disappointment was that the restaurant was closed - which we did not know at the time of booking. We walked up into the village of Seguret, which is a very long, steep walk, to find that there were no restaurants... More

The courtyard lives up to it's pictures. The room we stayed in was clean, large, and en-suite. Parking was convenient and free. Conversations between us and the owners was rather limited as I speak no French, my husband a little and the owners spoke no English. However, we did find a way to communicate. The area boasts small French villages... More
