We spent three nights at Au Merlot. We had two rooms reserved, both of which were accessible only up a very narrow, winding staircase. You had to duck your head to get into the room which was a bit awkward. The rooms were very nice but had one odd feature... The bathroom did not have a door and so was... More

Thanks for your comments. We're sorry for the stairs and the beams, but in a 300 year old building they can't be removed and it forms part of the charm of the place. We're so glad you had a good feeling after all ! You're very charming people and you're always welcome again. More

We stayed in L'Etable gite - 3 bed which was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. Not close to major sights but near to lots of bastide towns, vineyards, chateau and Bergerac. Very welcoming. Dinner on Saturday was a real treat - delicious food. Heated pool is great for all. Highly recommend as a gite holiday.

Very quiet location, long drive from any larger town or city, though all amenities are present. Adorable hosts, excellent 'table d'hôtes', stunning views over the Dordogne hills, rental houses perfectly furbished, child-friendly atmosphere. In short: definitely a place to come back to !
