We enjoyed our stay! It is cold because Papallcta is cold! But the fleece sheets and the hitter in the room keep you worm. This hostel is clean and good! The staff was very friendly and helpful. A good place to stay and very good value for money! Recommend!

There is very few options other than pricey hotel to stay in Papallacta. This is the best place...nothing else in the small village....a couple other hostals scattered along the road...and you can walk to this one from the bus stop on the road. The owner was very friendly and extremely helpful. ..drew us a map, helped us with bus routes,... More

Good position, very basic rooms, simple breakfast and -as mentioned- cold. With more alternatives in the areas there would be no need to recommend the place: compared to the average standards that you can find in the country in the same price-range is below expectations. The night I spent there I was given a double room which was barely wider... More

Yes it is basic and yes it is cold (as everywhere in Papallacta!), but price-value this hostal is just very good. Your room gets cleaned every day, you get fresh towels every day (which is necessary with the cold and humidity), there is a heater in the room and very hot thermal water in the shower. Warm linens and thick... More

-This is a 5 minute walk from the bus station and a 20-30 minute walk to the Termas hotel. This is probably your best cheap option. -From the bus station walk here- it's flat/downhill and easy -Note that it is 2$ cab ride up to the spa- worth it- the walk is NOT scenic OR nice. It is pretty much... More

We paid 41$ for a double room with breakfast during a busy weekend, so we were not expecting the Hilton. The hotel is what you could expect for this price, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and owners are very welcoming, they care about their guests. They also serve food for a fair price. The main contra of the hotel... More

Stayed for one night. Nothing to complain about. Very friendly and warm welcome. Owner helps with everything. Offers laundry service for 3$/kg and breakfast for $3. A private double room with bathroom was $30 (08/2013).

We had put down a $50 dollar deposit. We arrived and they tried to charge us $30/each + breakfast. That is about half of the advertised rate on their website. We had to show them an argue for 30 minutes to get the posted rates. Then breakfast was another $3.00/each. The hotel was drab & very cold. No wood for... More

This place is pretty old but comfortable and affordable. The water works well and after everyone got settled down for the night, it was pretty quiet too. Mr. Perrez takes good care of you and I would be happy to stay at the Coturpa again. Be careful of the local restaurant prices in town. We got nailed for $30 on... More
