Delightfully peaceful stay in early July, fantastic swimming pools, breathtaking view of countryside, magnificent manor combining historic charm and modern comfort. The restaurant was probably the best of the many we tried in the area - and we were impressed by the high quality generally.

The site - not on the state-of-the-art GPS we had - is spectacular. Gorgeous setting, really peaceful and great views in every direction. The pools are lovely, and the restaurant is quite good. The people who work there are also super-nice and patient. But there is no bellman, and no elevator, so be prepared to carry your own bags and... More

Only ate lunch there but Ted views service and food were excellent. The two pools looked very inviting in the 98 degree heat. I am looking forward to returning to spend a long weekend here. The grounds are well kept and the staff seem very attentive.

My family stayed here for 1 night during our vacation and getaway from the city. The property and surrounding views are gorgeous and I enjoyed my time sitting on the terrace looking out over olive trees, vineyards, and Tuscan hills. We were upgraded to a big, two room suite which was very, very spacious. It was a nice treat, but... More

On Saturday I was fortunate to attend the Wedding and the following Reception of a dear Cousin of mine and everything was absolutely brilliant. The civil cerymony took place outside, with singer and harpist plying appropriate music, before a brilliant Lunch served "al fresco", where the Antipasti buffet was first class and the next 4 courses, (Ravioli, Risotto, Filetto di... Villa La Palagina was one of our favorite places on our Italy vacation. We spent 3 nights there in May. The rooms are comfortable, clean and decorated in a pretty tuscan style. The grounds and surrounding area are beautiful! The food was wonderful and the staff very nice, welcoming and helpful. We would love to return for another visit.

I was so impressed with my stay at this lovely hotel last year, that I knew I would return and have just spent a week enjoying a wonderful relaxing time again. The setting of this hotel is glorious and the rooms are really beautiful, with finishing touches in my room such as gardenia soaps, olive oil made on the premises,... More

This hotel is decently located between outlet malls, great vineyards representing the Chanti region, but the hotel itself is very average. It doesn't have an elevator and doesn't have a porter service which makes its inconvenient for families with large luggages, small bathroom and rather poorly lit bedrooms. The hotel is slightly dated so the furniture appears and feels slightly... More

The location of this hotel is absolutely gorgeous, looking out over the Valdarno valley from its hilltop. Vinyards, green hills, flowers, sun and la dolce vita... it doesn't get more Tuscan than this. The rooms are beautiful, large garden, 2 swimming pools and a talented chef in the kitchen. Kudos to GM Eric Veroliemeulen for the impeccable service and personal... More

This is a nice place, located in the country side in Tuscany. It is a tad isolated, so do not expect to be walking to the shops or similar. We stayed for 2 days as part of a group tour, it was fantastic. We had two evening meals at the restaurant, both of which were a delight, as good as... More
