Found La Palagina by chance looking for a place to spend 3 days before embarking on a cruise out of Civitavecchia. Decided that we would rather explore Florence than Rome. This turned out to be a highlight of trip with several to choose from. This property is easily accessible from the Autostrada A1, a major freeway that connects most of... More

We stayed here for two nights at the end of a week long tour of Tuscan towns and cities: they certainly saved the best til last. Eric, the Direttore, and his team provided a warm welcome. Our room was delightfully furnished in shades of blue with an attractive four poster bed and a balcony affording views across the surrounding countryside.... More

Stayed there end of October for three nights whilst on a wine tour of the region. Eight blokes from an Investment Club spending their earnings!! Looked after by a brilliant Tour Leader and driver - Anna Maria Madaffari at cooltoursbyanna@gmail.com. She booked the hotel for us and planned a great tour. The hotel was really lovely and the food and... More

Great hotel – perfect base to explore a wonderful area. Eric and his team were fantastic. Eric gave us great suggestions to explore the area and knows all the walks and gorgeous hideaways. All the staff went out their way to help. Our room was lovely. We are booking to go again next year!!

Villa La Palagina is amazing! During our visit to the Villa it was grape harvest time. We had the pleasure of harvesting grapes, having a picnic with the staff and were educated on the vine making process. The Villa is exquisite and is a first class experience. I would recommend this for anyone who would like a great way to... More

My boyfriend and I found Villa La Palagina accidentally and it became one of the highlights of our 16 days in Italy. We originally booked for one night but after checking-in and seeing the Villa and the quality of the restaurant and the hospitality of its staff we very quickly decided to stay a second night. We would have stayed... More

We stayed at La Palagina for 3 night and we were greeted by Eric, a charming Dutchman who made us feel very welcomed. The road to access La Palagina is a windy road through the breathtaking Tuscan countryside, like you see only in movies and postcards, and when you arrive at La Palagina, you are just taken by the place,... Just 35 minutes from Florence, this lovely villa --situated in the Chianti region of Tuscany--has spectacular views of the surrounding vineyards and olive groves. Our room was spacious and accommodating.; food was above average; two beautiful (new) pools also take advantage of the amazing vistas. The staff is helpful and anxious to please; bus tours to Pisa, Lucca and Sienna... More

We just returned home from our 8 night stay. The Villa La Palagina in Tuscany was amazing. This was such a "fairy tale" villa. The suite for us was wonderful and our daughter's room terrific. The hospitality was superb! The food delicious every meal just amazing. Eric was extremely helpful with all of my questions! The restaurant outstanding, Fabio was... More
