Just returned from our 4th holiday here. Excellent site, food in restaurants and take-away great and not expensive. Lots of activities for children, including the adventure park (pay per activity here). We had our usual lovely mobile home from Al Fresco holidays - everything just as it should be, and with Damien and Becky as the new reps Al Fresco... More

Just returned from an absolutely fantastic week at the Norcenni Girasole Club with the family. The campsite is amazing - wonderful views over the mountains, fantastic swimming pools and slides, brilliant food and wine in both the restaurants - the florentine steaks are amazing, lots and lots of icecream. Our mobile home was extremely modern and clean and with a... More

stayed here with a huge tour group on the 25/05/15. overall this has got to be the WORST place I have ever stayed away from home in. filthy toilet smells that lingered in every bedroom. light in our room was not working and they couldn't fix it. staff at reception was extremely rude most likely because we are foreigners. wood... On our way from Milano to Isla de Elba, we decided to have a break with our 2 kids (2 and 5) and stay 3 nights at the Ghirasole Camping. We stayed in one of the large "tent", that is more like a wooden house. Kids loved it, and both parents could relax a bit. Restaurants were good enough (while... More

This site is special. Okay, it is a bit far our BUT the trains are wonderful and a great experience in their own right. Make sure you visit Will in the wine shop. We bought some brilliant wines and had a super BBQ alongside the camper with his spot - on recommendations. We had breakfast at the cafeteria (and great... More

Only our second camp site experience and we loved it here! The site had the feeling of being its own little village and was super relaxing, just what we were looking for for a few days! The site offers transport to Venice and Florence which was excellent along with a heap of other trips, so convenient! I cannot rave about... More

Having been on family holidays to Norcenni Girasole for many years, and being part of a cycling club, I decided it might be a good idea to organise a trip to cycle in the Chianti Hills and make Norcenni our base, and what a good decision it was. From the moment I contacted Poalo there,he made it so easy and... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom home for a few nights at the end of May. The village is in such a beautiful location, and very well laid out. Our little Giotto house had everything we needed, was clean and fresh and in a quiet spot. There is a well stocked indoor market and they gave us a complimentary bottle... More
