if you want to get away from the mountain crowd, stay here! We spent two nights here during a winter hiking trip in Maine and it was perfect. The rooms and inn are very high end - gorgeous wooden flooring, great kitchen (which the owners let us use for early breakfast and set out coffee for us on a timer... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Nestlewood Inn Friday and Saturday night while we were skiing Sugerloaf and visiting the Sugerloaf Outdoor Center for Nordic skiing. The inn is perfectly located between the access road for these two attractions, and it is set just far enough off of the main road so you cannot hear the road noise. David and... More

This place was fantastic! Rooms were very spacious, very clean, looks new, accommodating friendly staff, one of the most comfortable beds, great breakfast, and 5 minutes to the slopes. Great prices and easy to get to. It's a little hidden off the road so it's hard to find at night. Perfect for a romantic get away.

Last week I had my wedding at Nestlewood, and I have nothing but amazing things to say. My now husband and I decided we just wanted a small, quaint wedding, and Nestlewood was the perfect location for us. We rented out all of the rooms and stayed 3 nights. This is such a better option (for us) than spending a... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Nestlewood Inn Saturday and Sunday night because we were running the Sugarloaf Marathon on Sunday. We absolutely loved our stay there. David and Alona took very good care of us. We had to leave for the race on Sunday at 5am and David got up at 4:30am to make everyone breakfast and gave... More

Spotted this gem a few years ago and have been wanting to stay here and ski Sugarloaf. Beautiful place! Wonderful breakfast in the morning and delicious cookies made daily! The owners are pleasant and accommodating; their dog Sadie is too! Community refrigerator in the basement. Its quiet, clean, cozy and close to the Loaf. Will definitely stay here again.

Just returned from a two-night stay during February vacation week (2014), wishing we could have stayed for the week. Wonderful lodge pole construction with plenty of windows to let in the light. Socks only is entirely optional, but new wood floors and nice oriental rugs in the common areas (living room, library, breakfast room) make it easy to leave your... More

My spouse and I stayed here for two nights in Feb 2014. We loved every minute of it. The inn is a 5-minute drive from Sugarloaf. The inn feels brand new. It's all made out of wood the way a mountain lodge should be. Our room (room 7) was roomy and simple and entirely comfortable. We peeked into other rooms... More

New, clean, wonderfully appointed! Our room was large, comfortable and our host was very accommodating. It's like a lodge in the woods. Breakfast was really good, and we got our doggie fix with Sadie the Australian shepherd.

Beautiful B&B in the woods. David and Alona are awesome. Breakfast was amazing. Rooms very clean, tidy, and cozy. Nice to be away from the mountain action. 5 minute drive to the slopes. Will definitely repeat!

Thank you for staying with us. Wintertime we are conveniently close to Sugarloaf, but don't forget that summer brings another whole group of outdoor activities. Alona and I look forward to your return!! David More
