You wouldn't expect broken doors, skewed hinges, disgusting smell, closed restaurant and poor evening menu in a bar (where you can eat instead of a closed restaurant) from a 4-star hotels. But the worst is nasty staff, when nobody cares about your comfort, but it looks as if you're preventing staff from spending their working hours for personal pleasure. The... More

We spent there a wonderful weekend for very good price. We really appriciated the non smoking area in the whole hotel. The staff at the reception was very helpful, the rooms are clean and spacious. We recommend it ...

We chose this hotel for our one night stay in Beroun. Price was reasonable, we have paid 38EUR for double room with breakfast. My first impression of this hotel was that old apartment building was renovated and transformed to hotel. Reception was quite nice, check in was question of 1 minute and we were directed to our room. Nice surprise... More

I am a regular visitor at this hotel. I get very unhappy when it is is fully-booked and I need to change the hotel to a different one. Compared to other hotels available in the area, it offers great standards for good money. I really value its good quality & standards as well as nice, friendly people that service their... More

I stayed here while on a tour and it was a good place to stay. Food was good though we had no choices for dinner only what we got. Breakfast there is no fresh juice only some kind of watered down cordial/juice. The beds were comfortable and clean and unlike a lot of the hotels we had bath which was... More

Ok the car was securely parked for the night. One problem less. Negotiating we got our three Eco (??) rooms for three adults and three children plus a baby for a less than exorbitant which was still exorbitant for this part of Czech. I suppose when you are tired you will sleep anywhere but you expect to start a fresh... More

We enjoyed our 3-day stay here while we were in the Czech Republic! The room was spacious, and the staff was helpful! We enjoyed the Bohemian breakfast which included Hoska and Kolacky. We also enjoyed the town of Beroun and the restaurants that were within walking distance. The only negative about the hotel is that it doesn't have airconditioning. However,... More

The Best Western Hotel Grand at Beroun is a high building in the citycentre of Beroun. It's a 10 minute walk from the railwaystation. The hotel claims to be a 4 star hotel which is somewhat overrated, my bet would be 3½ star. The rooms are large and have charming colours, you can choose in yellow, red, green or blue.... More
