Very warm welcome from Giovanna - a lovely lady who cares for her guests with a motherly touch. Very good service with journeys to and from the bus stop. Stunning position overlooking Florenze and the surrounding plain in Giovanna's family home - she is mistress of her universe and shares it with her guests. I would recommend this Agriturismo wholeheartedly. more

Having read many similar reviews flattered of Villa Sestini, I'll list the small "downsides": the bathrooms don't interconnect with the rooms, you need to walk on the corridor (this, however, is not a problem if you go with friends, another couple etc. as there are only 2 bedrooms in the house); and the breakfast is a bit unsatisfactory if you... more

I happened on this villa looking for somewhere to stay outside of Florence that provided a great view. I had stayed at a villa in this same area (7-8 minutes from Florence) several years previously and this one was more wonderful. Not only because of the view of Florence and the quiet and beauty of the Villa, but because of... more

We spent 4 days at villa Sestini in August 2009. We had wonderful time there. Giovanna was very nice and helpful. She gave us many useful tips for visiting Firenze, prepared delicious dinner which was served in the garden with awesome view of Firenze and the sunset. There are also 2 pretty good tratorrias in the town. We tried the... more

This is a terrific B&B. Giovanna made us feel at home in the peaceful countryside just outside of Florence. Her breakfasts were simple yet divine and she moved like the wind to make sure our stay was as perfect as could be. We'd return in a heartbeat. Thank you Giovanna. Warmly, Jeff and Lauren more

My daughter and I stayed at Villa Sestini in July. It proved to be one of the high points of our wonderful trip to Italy. Giovanna is a gracious and helpful host who made us feel at home immediately. She magically got us next day tickets to Florence museums and always kept us well supplied with home baked goodies and... more

We stayed with Giovana for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom, although down the hall, was for our private use. The breakfast was plentiful and included Giovana's fresh cake, biscuits and jams. She was very helpful in organising bus ticket and washing and folding our laundry for us (extra cost).... more

We stayed at Villa Sestini for two nights in May with another couple we were travelling with. Villa Sestini is perfect for two couples travelling together as we had the villa to ourselves. The rooms are large and beautiful and are decorated with antiques and are spotlessly clean. The gardens are beautiful with glorious views over Florence. It is lovely... more
