If you are travelling to Italy and wish to experience a little bit of the Tuscan countryside, whilst being close enough to visit all the sights of Firenze, then Villa Sestini is the ideal place. My recent journey was my third stay at this delightful villa and I recommended it to several friends with whom I was travelling. Everyone enjoyed... More

This is better than a 5 stars hotel! If you want to visit Firenze and the north of Toscany, this is the place to be! It is a marvelous location with a splendid hospitality by Mrs Giovanna. Nice authentic rooms, clean and a typical local B&B breakfast. There is also a swimming pool to cool off. This B&B is also... More

10 minutes from Firenze, on the hill, in a beautifull area you find this place. The villa, the garden, the view and also Goivanna is so much authentic and real, that creates a special atmosphere, that you dont want to leave behind. Real marmalade, real coffe, real morning sweets. What else do you need before a nice walk in the... More

2013 - 7/9 june My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend of June at Villa Sestini. It was great! During the day we were visiting Florence, easily accessible by bus; in the late afternoon we were coming back to Villa Sestini (a very nice location) to relax with the peaceful countryside. We have to thanks the owner that make... More

Though hard to find, Giovanna's villa is worth the trip. This 100 year old house is wonderful and modernized. It has a great view over the Arno River Valley and sunsets over Firenze. If you have a car, use this as a base for Sienna, Pisa, Lucca and the wine country of Chienti. Hopefully the photo gives a clue to... More

My husband and I along with our two small children stayed here in May 2013. We enjoyed everything about it, from the spectacular view of Florence to the quiet peacefulness of the countryside. My boys loved running around in the beautiful garden. Villa Sestini was only a 10 minute drive to the bus station into Florence. A super market was... More

We stayed there for a 6 days in September, a couple with 2 toddlers 3 and 5 year old. The pictures on the website doesn't do justice to how beautiful this villa and apartment is. The winding and narrow road leading up to the villa was adventure itself, trying to maneuver our car in those narrow lanes. However, the view... More

The surrounding is amazing, the apartment beautiful, comfortable, and very very quiet! :-) No noise, nobody disturbed us, but we could join internet via Wifi if we wanted to... The pool is cleaned every morning, and no chemicals used for the cleaning!!! No airconditioning, but... More
