You are a close drive to Florence (you will need a rental car) and only 45 minutes (10 miles, but in the mountains) to Vinci, Italy, The hometown and birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci. The staff at this hotel are so wonderful. We extended our stay from 2 nights to 4 they were so great. You are a 1 hour... More

On September 1st 2014, we travelled to Signa and stayed at Borgo. as soon as we arrived we were welcomed with warm welcoming hands. we had arranged to be picked up at the signas train station by a charming Lucca which we later realised it was his family business (a man we will never forget) Arriving at the hotel Alexandro... We stayed here last October 2013 with another couple and after reading all the reviews we could hardly wait to arrive. It was everything and more! What a wonderful gem in Tuscany. Would recommend this B&B 100%. This is coming from someone that travels extensively and rarely stays in B&B places. This has to be #1 on my list of... More

We wanted a short five night break to Florence and chose to stay outside the city. This was the perfect solution as although you have breakfast in the hotel you stay in a small apartment. The family who run the hotel are charming, very helpful and welcoming.....they even waited up for us to arrive after a late night flight. The breakfast... More

Only 15 minutes from the center of Florence you will find this beautiful little hotel with 3 stars but giving you a 4 to 5 star service. The staff will help you with everything: finding the best restaurants, the most beautiful spots and catering to your every need. Nice big family rooms, a beautiful park, a nice pool, delicious simple... More

Our 4-night-stay was just unforgettable. Ideally located to visit Tuscany and access easily to Florence (by train which is surely one of the simplest way), Pisa, Siena, Chianti and other wonders of Tuscany. The hotel itself is really nice: room was huge, comfortable, clean, a good level of amenities and well decorated to make you feel at home.Breakfast variety of... More

We were very impressed with this hotel. The room was character filled, good sized and had a kitchen. All the staff was very helpful, the owner was especially excited about his hotel and region and tried to make sure we had a great time. They transported us to and from the train station so we could visit Florence. It's not... More

We stayed in a senior suite for 2 nights with 2 adults and 2 kids. We were welcomed very friendly, our whole stay we felt very welcome. Our appartment was very big and nicely furnished. What was a pity, was that we did not have direct acces to the terrace, we had to go via the shared hallway. With two... More

We had a fantastic time staying at this hotel in Signa. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by the owners and the staff. Ideally you need a car, but that's the best way to visit Tuscany! The pool was perfect, and very peaceful. I am always skeptical about breakfast in hotels when we go... More

The owner and staff here are fantastic! They went out of their way to help us in every way they knew how, with genuine hospitality and friendliness, like when I hopped on the wrong train headed there out of Florence (so, not every train headed through Signa on the way to Pisa stops in Signa--you might wanna clear that up...
