This was our first time in Italy, we started in Milan, then Venice, Florence and finally Rome. We stayed in great hotels, but nothing like Borgo Castelletti. My family and I felt like we were visiting and staying with family. The apartment was clean and big enough for 4 of us. The breakfast had a variety of food and was... More

The place is wonderful, the property is beautiful with a small kitchenette and rooms themed with different painters. The flooring is beautiful. Just note that this is a country setting and the furnishings reflect that. Il Borgo di Villa Castelleti is a fancy place for conventions and weddings but the tourists stay in the small enclave of homes/apartments whatever you... More

We recently stayed here for 2 nights whilst touring Italy. The location is great, peaceful and very pretty. It's rural so you will need a car or another means of transport. Our room (9) was very spacious and nicely decorated. It had a lounge area and kitchenette. The hotel has a swimming pool which we found very welcoming after a... More

We enjoyed our 20 days stay at Villa Castelletti and recommend it strongly if you are looking for a quiet country hotel not too far from Florence. The hotel building is located on a vast green estate, our studio was on two levels and fully equipped, the breakfast was generous and served in a nice rustic building, the service was... More

My husband and I only stayed one night in this charming place, but we will be going back! It's located near a vineyard and has a small lake and good restaurant within walking distance. The pool area is lovely and when we went in June we had the pool to ourselves. The room we had was nice with a small... More

I stayed in this hotel in January with my family. We arrived pretty late as we were travelling through Tuscany and the trip took longer than expected. We called the reception and they left a paper and the room key in the reception. They sounded pretty friendly and they kept this type of treatment through our 4day stay there. Then... More

You are a close drive to Florence (you will need a rental car) and only 45 minutes (10 miles, but in the mountains) to Vinci, Italy, The hometown and birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci. The staff at this hotel are so wonderful. We extended our stay from 2 nights to 4 they were so great. You are a 1 hour... More

On September 1st 2014, we travelled to Signa and stayed at Borgo. as soon as we arrived we were welcomed with warm welcoming hands. we had arranged to be picked up at the signas train station by a charming Lucca which we later realised it was his family business (a man we will never forget) Arriving at the hotel Alexandro... We stayed here last October 2013 with another couple and after reading all the reviews we could hardly wait to arrive. It was everything and more! What a wonderful gem in Tuscany. Would recommend this B&B 100%. This is coming from someone that travels extensively and rarely stays in B&B places. This has to be #1 on my list of... More
