My friend and I arrived at the Borgo after a hectic few days in Rome and were absolutely thrilled to arrive at this beautiful, peaceful and friendly place! The minute we stepped out of the taxi the stress just melted away. We were warmly greeted by Diego, who was so friendly and helpful...we just knew this was going to be... more

Ok, I apologize. We stayed here twice last year, for two days in May and then a week in September, and it's taken me till now to post a review. No excuse, except for laziness, plus a wish not to share the best secret ever too widely, in case it's fully booked next time we want to return. We chose... more

An amazing place with incredible staff. We got a very warm and friendly hospitality, the room was very cosy and luxurious. All staff members are very service oriented and will be happy to help you at any time. We used a lot of their tips which realy made our stay there so special. We realy reccomend the Three-Crowns resturant which... more

From the moment we arrived and got an immediate upgrade to the moment we regretfully had to leave, this hotel and in particular all the members of staff were fantastic. Enjoyed every minute and will return if we can. more

I went to Il Borgo with my best friend to celebrate my birthday. On the way there my flight was delayed and I missed my connection to Florence, resulting in Air France losing my suitcase. With that kind of start I didnt hold out much hope for the rest of the trip. The trip was only a 4 day event... more

We stayed at the Borgo di Villa Castelletti while in Tuscany for 2 nights of our trip around Italy, and wish we could have stayed longer. The grounds and scenery are gorgeous. The breakfast is fantastic. Especially compared to the other places we stayed. We stayed in the quad - 2 beds, 1 of which is upstairs in a loft.... more

We spent 5nights at this lovely place. Our room was very large and beautifull appointed. But what really does it for this place are the people working here. They are all the best!!! Always helping making choices for restaurants and in for a joke. This year we'll be staying here again! Nice rather small pool, tasty breakfast and lots of... more

My stay at Villa Castelletti was my best travel experience ever. The staff was absolutely wonderful and worked to provide their visitors an unforgettable experience. We were welcomed and treated with warmth and friendliness. The staff treated you as if you were family. The accomodations were wonderful. The rooms resembled Tuscan farmhouse rooms and were very clean and comfortable. The... more

Very friendly staff, genuinely helpful and happy people. Large grounds with trees and a lake (!), large rooms, well specced bathrooms, clean (but not heated) pool, nice views, sunshine and 27 degrees in the first week of Oct, great restaurant (Tre Corone) which is very very high quality yet informal, the continental breakfast is high quality too. Know the truth,... more

This is for Allessandro from Edmonton, Canada! WE LOVE IL BORGO!! This is an amazing jewel set in a tranquil, breathtaking environment. The hotel consists of converted (gorgeously!/!) villa outbuildings at the foot of the historic Villa mansion (now used for conventions, weddings etc.) The grounds are huge and glorious to explore and enjoy in and of themselves--this makes Il... more
