This is a good choice if you are arriving by car and are staying few days. I left car at the hotel and took train to Florence each day. If you want to avoid traffic & parking in Florence. 20 minutes by train to Florence, staff is very helpful and friendly. English speaking. Ask for and visit from there (if you travel by car) the restaurant Da Delfina in Artimino, one of the true Tuscan restaurants in a beautiful location.
