My wife an I spent two very comfortable nights at the G/H. Our hosts, friendly and most welcoming, provided an excellent breakfast - just the thing when cycle touring the area. The room itself was spacious, clean with a comfortable bed. The location of the G/H was good being near two good hotels providing evening meals. For the bird spotters... More

We had a fantastic 3 nights here. The best fruit salad for breakfast ever. The room was immaculate, comfy and well appointed, and our hosts gave us excellent tips for restaurants and what to do on a wet Sunday! They even got me a wee birthday cupcake, when they found out the reason for our visit - which definitely made... More

A great find as a base for touring and walking the islands, close to the town, restaurants and shops. Comfortable, clean accommodation. Very good breakfast and helpful, friendly and charming hosts. A small lounge area in the breakfast room. Would recommend staying here.

Fantastic b&b, friendly and feels like home, couldn't ask for better, so relaxing, highly recommended. Been going here for 5 years now wouldn't stay anywhere else. Ideal location for traveling around the islands.

I have been going to The Borve Guest House for about 5 years and would highly recommend this place to anyone. The location is great for beach walks and food and drink. There are shops in either direction. The hosts are top quality too Gretta and Calum have made every visit interesting and their knowledge helps immensely when planning a... More

I stayed for four nights in February. Really lovely cosy accommodation. Made to feel so welcome and felt at home. The accommodation is spotlessly clean. The most wonderful breakfasts. I would recommend Borve Guest House. If you want a really relaxing homely Bed & Breakfast. You cannot get better than this.

I was advised to use this B and B and I am glad that I did. The nearby Dark Island Hotel was full, thankfully as it is going downhill. However, it is only a 10 - 15 minute walk to the hotel to get an evening meal. The guest is house is lovely. A terrifically warm welcome and a spotless... More

Only stayed one night but had a perfectly enjoyable stay. Owners were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated the extra wee touches of toiletries etc.

We hadn't booked phoned on the off chance and there was a twin room free. The room was well presented. It didn't have an ensuite but it did have a private bathroom. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The location is slightly remote, but then most places on the islands are.
