The hostel is lovely and very well run, with great shared spaces for mingling with fellow travelers, yummy and affordable breakfasts, and great prices (we camped for two nights and each night was just 16,000COP per person). It was a chill scene, too, with friendly travelers and a lot of nice conversations. Only downside is it's a bit far from... More

We stayed two night in a private room. It was $110.000 pesos or about 36 USD a night, well worth it in my opinion. Diego and the other front desk staff are very friendly and helpful and make the stay very comfortable. BreakFast is not included in the rate but is very cheap and good in the restaurant. The coffee... More

The hostel is a 15-minute walk from the town's center. Staff is decent and cheerful, beds are comfortable, place is clean and VERY quiet. They have hammocks, TV room, firepit, nice kitchen (breakfast not included, just coffee; they offer separate breakfast for cheap, but not that many options). They offer tours around town and are generally helpful with whatever you... More

Great to return to Colombian Highlands again and see that its continued to improve since our last visit. Great for nature lovers, walkers, people wanting to get out and enjoy the day. Good breakfast and finally a colombian hostel with a proper coffee machine. I recommend the upstairs private.

Renacer Hostel is situated just outside of downtown Villa de Leyva in a great mountain setting. It is a very clean warm place with staff and owners who really do care about your experience. Great facilities and outdoor spaces make this an easy choice in Villa de Leyva. They also have a ton of information and can organize anything for... More

The hotel is nice, really clean, the beds are super comfy. There's fast-enough wifi. The property is located a bit outside the Villa de Leyva, so you feel more in the nature and you're surrounded by the mountains. It's very calm and peaceful! The staff is friendly and nice. 4 little things I didn't like: 1) the bikes you can... More

Four of us stayed for two nights at this quiet and peaceful lovely hostel on the outskirts of town. An easy walk into town. Highly recommended. The people who run the place are gracious and friendly. A fabulous place to visit. They can connect you to a really terrific guide named Awad, who spent the whole day with us walking... More

A friend and I stayed in this charming little lodge for two nights. The place was well set up with facilities for campers and roomers, and the onsite restaurant looked very 1970s snazzy. We went on a horse riding tour and Raul and his beasts were a perfect way to while away an inexpensive afternoon. Take care finding it though.... More

Really enjoyed my 3-day stay at Renacer Hostel. Its a very nice set up with beautiful grounds. I liked being a km from town because it forced me to walk off meals and cerveza. The Renacer staff was great. They were very patient with my bad espanol and even helped me practice a little. they were very helpful when I... More

Renacer Hostal is about a 15 minute walk from the town square, just close enough, but secluded too, beautiful grounds, nice views. The first night we were in one of the dorms, it was fine, then moved to one of the private cabins, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, facilities were good, although the kitchen could have been... More
