La Metairie is located approximately 45 minutes from the Eurotunnel Terminal in Calais, a few minutes off the A26 and as such made an excellent stopover location en route home from Snowboarding in the Alps - it came with positive recommendations from family who had stayed previously. Arriving at 1500hrs, check in was efficient and our rooms easily located. On... More

Stayed whilst visiting the Loose battlefield sites last autumn. Very satisfied and will visit again. Good restaurants on site are a bonus for me (the driver). Have recommended them to friends as we'll. Martin

We stayed her en-route to the Alps for our honeymoon and would definitely stay here again. The room was fairly basic but warm, clean and comfortable with a huge bathroom which was very well fitted. We did only book a standard room so it was as expected. We were slightly disappointed as BW Reward members to not be upgraded, but we... More

A well managed hotel in the grounds of a large Chateau, minutes away from the Motorway links across France , Belgium and Germany. We have experienced this hotel on a number of occasions as a stopover and it certainly caters for an overnight stay. There are 2 good restaurants, La Distillerie and Le Vasco, in the grounds with varied menus... More

Some of the 'Comfort' rooms in this 3 star hotel overlook the entrance and fields of a working french farm. If you have rooms that look out on the farm (as we did) the farm vehicles will be passing with 10 metres of your window. In addition the hotel is close to a busy minor road We returned from a... Just an easy 50-minute drive from Calais, this hotel is a great place to break a journey. It's part of a beautifully rebuilt old estate (check out the huge walled kitchen garden behind) that now houses 2 hotels, 3 restaurants plus conference facilities. It's only a few km from the motorway but you're in a different world. Our room was... More

We stayed here on our way back to calais after a touring holiday. We booked a D,B&B deal directly with the hotel which gave us a great ground floor room with parking outside. The room had lovely barrel vaulted ceiling, tiled floor, bath and shower all sitting on warm quarry tiled floor. The hospitality we received was first class. The... More

This is an excellent hotel, comfortable, large rooms and very well priced. It would have scored 5 except for the price of the breakfast which was far too high. It is set in lovely grounds and is in a very quiet and tranquil area.

We spent one night at the hotel and found it very pleasant. Gosnay is a small village community, very lovely. Reception only spoke a bit of English but with our bit of French we did okay. All staff were very friendly. Our room was large with parking right outside the door. We had a large bathroom and all amenities. The... More

The park/gardens are well worth a stroll We had a room (pre-paid) for 68Euros Good beds, good bathroom, air-conditioning which you need in high summer, multichannel TV. No lift. Double glazing and electric blinds ( a previous reviewer did not appear to have noticed this!) kept... More
