We stayed here after a long day on the Camino. Staff were friendly and the food was great. Rooms are TINY. With the two single beds we were struggling to find anywhere to put our packs. The accommodation is directly over a public bar, and although this was very convenient to quench our thirst on arrival, when it came to... More

Our group of Five spent one night here while walking the Camino. Staff were friendly, food was delicious and bedrooms, though small were clean and perfectly adequate. Pleasant night's sleep as no noise. A complete re-decoration etc for the opening of the Pilgrimage Season

Spent one night in this hotel and it was one night too many. Noise from downstairs bar continued until the early hours of the night which made sleep impossible. Staff showed no interest nor concern for their hotel guests. Difficult to locate a staff member most times with reception desk unattended for the duration of my stay. Room was small... More

The only reason we are here is because it was booked in advance by Fresco Tours for our group. This no star hotel is terrible: small rooms, dirty, no elevator so you'll need to haul your suitcase up 2 flights of stairs, and lousy food. No AC, a noisy bar and a pretty rude receptionist. Really? We are all dismayed... More

We were booked into this hotel in June 2014 by our tour company and approached it with some trepidation after reading previous reviews. We actually found it really good. Most importantly it was clean and the staff were all very pleasant and accepting of our limited Spanish. The food was nice, and there was plenty of it. There is a... More

After reading the reviews I had much trepidation about staying at the hotel. I found the staff to be helpful. They carried our luggage upstairs to our rooms. The rooms were tiny, especially the bathroom. I almost had to step in the shower to get past the door. I was in a single room and although small, I had enough... More

My husband and I were walking Camino Francés route of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela… 800km of accommodations and The Pousada Chiquitin wins our thumbs-down award! We booked this hotel with a recommendation from ‘THE’ popular Camino de Santiago guide, used by 90% of our fellow pilgrims… big mistake! I am usually very generous with my TripAdvisor ratings so... This place was a bit hard to find for us Camino walkers, but we were lucky to run into someone who found it on their phone GPS - really needs better directions for getting there. I remembered the food reviews so we didn't eat there and as we were walking didn't have any problem with the check out time. It... More

The location of the hotel is good. Rooms are tiny but that's to be expected in historical properties. The main problem is the attitude of the owner. She is rude and uncompromising. Not the best attributes for a hotel owner. Also expect early phone calls telling you to get out of the room (without even an hello or an excuse... More
