At first, the hotel seems really nice. The pool is clean ..and the area surrounding the hotel is terribly exotic and relaxing. However, from the moment we'd checked.in the problems had began. I don't want to be sniffy..but after they'd cleaned our room all the furniture had a funny smell...and we coudn't put anything in the closset. Anyways...the people from... More

We had some things missing from the room, like the remote or the hair dryier. The pool, the reception and the garden were clean, our room, not so... We had to beg them to clean the room. The owners were struggling with the English language, so it was kinda hard to talk to them. On our last day, they made... More

I find it difficult to try and describe just how bad this accommodation is. first of all when we arrived there appeared to be no one about, then a guy in a grubby tee shirt turned up ( part owner) to tell us there were no rooms for us as he had not been paid from last season and his... More

I simply have no words for this hotel.. It is awful.. Also, cleaners are not doing their work - we caught them once sitting on our bed and chatting. We were there one week and we only got "clean" towels and wc paper once! At the end they charged us more money because the towels were dirty... Well, what do... More

Holiday at Polyxeni didn't start too well as travel agents hadn't provided our booking info to hotel and no rooms were available. Thankfully the hotel owners couldn't have been more helpful and gave us complimentary drinks while they spoke to the company we booked through and sorted us local alternative accommodation until room at Polyxeni was available. Kids were entertained... More

The hotel has a good pool and a pleasant communal area. The rooms are basic but clean. There was sometimes a smell in the bathroom but not in every apartment. The beds were hard but aren't they always? The kitchen is very basic but who needs to cook on holiday? Who watches tv when in such a lovely resort? The local... More

Let me start by first saying that appearances can be very deceptive and in the hotel polyxeni's case this is most definitely the case. We arrived late afternoon and on first site the hotel didn't appear too bad but upon entering our room i was disappointed to say the least, what an absolute dirty disgusting room it was, dusty, mouldy,... Well in the pictures posted on the Internet the hotel looks reasonable but in reality is a 1 star hotel. I was for one week there with other 8 friends, and we had 4 rooms in total, the agency that sold the voucher Delta Best Tourism ( never trust them) sad that it will be a very good hotel and... More

Whilst on first appearances (in the dark) the accommodation appeared to represent reasonable value for the 3* promised, there were many problems which led us to feel it should not be rated thus, if offered at all: The holiday was advertised as self catering and, as such, one would expect to be able to prepare one’s own meals within the... We have just had a lovely chilled out holiday at the polyxeni. Lovely pool that's never too busy with people booking beds at silly o'clock! The food at the bar is fantastic. It's brought to the bar from Face taverna, which serves gorgeous Greek food and you must try the ouzo that's made by the owner. The rooms are basic... More
