Stayed one night while doing Camino. What an absolute gem. Got a room on the top floor overlooking the road and it was as quiet as anything. Had tea at the restaurant and the waiter was extremely helpful. Room nice and large as was the bathroom. Beds very comfy. Breakfast very good. All you could want. Highly recommend.

We were walking the Camino de Santiago September this year and stayed at the hostel that runs by De Floriana hotel at Monlinaseca, Spain. The Albergue is located across the street from the main hotel, it is under the hotel's management. The Floriana Albergue facilities are straight out of the 70's and nothing seems changed. The kitchen light bulb is... More

Three of us arrived wet in the rain late one day and stopped here by chance. Everything from checking in to out, breakfast, checkout time... all wonderful. No sheets provided as it was pilgrim pricing, but the beds, pillow slips, towels, shampoo,... all exceeded expectations. Hope to find similar accommodation elsewhere!

Molinaseca is such a beautiful town and a great place to stay for a day or two if you have time along the camino. We only had one night and so we ate at the hotel (blisters were another deciding factor!). We were delighted that we did, the meal was exceptional and there were plenty locals eating there which is... More

Having broken my foot I had to change my walking plans and slow down my camino experience. Hotel de Floriana is beautiful and calm. The help at the front desk speaks English and is extremely helpful. The atmosphere is so special I would highly recommend a stay if you are doing the Camino!

Yes, another walker on the Camino. We arrived in Molinaseca on a sunny Sunday afternoon after a long day of walking. The people of the town were making the most of the sun by swimming in the river and lounging on the riverbanks - I was tempted to jump in the river to cool off! The town is small and... More

This is a really beautiful property. There is relaxing music as you arrive at the reception and the building common areas are well heated (not always common in Spain). Lots of glass and a really nice garden area and patio at the back. The restaurant is large and seems quite opulent ...there was a 25 euro set menu when I... More

Like a previous reviewer, I stayed in this hotel while walking the Camino de Santiago. I also had had a tiring, wet day and fancied taking a break from dormitory accommodation. This hotel is on the main road, quite close to both the private and the municipal pilgrims' albergues, as you exit the town. Receptionist was very friendly. The twin... More

I had just finished a long days walk on the Camino, my feet were hurting, it was raining, and I had almost been lynched the night before for snoring in a shared dormitory style Albergue. It was not a hard choice. I asked for a room with bath and internet at the local bar and was directed here. It is... More
