An average overnight stop if walking Camino de Santiago. The room was fine, the bar inside and outside was excellent, the wifi was very poor and inconsistent. The food quality for the pilgrims dinner was well below average. Plenty of space though, the grounds and building are interesting.

So funny to find such a large hotel - with an albergue attached - in such a tiny village of just 35 permanent residents. We stayed in the hotel and it was a nice respite from the Camino. Pilgrim's dinner in the hotel restaurant was quite good - 12 euros. Breakfast the next morning was included in the hotel stay... More

Great place for an overnight stop, the hotel is full of pilgrims making the walk to Santiago de Compostela, most were housed in a section just for them. The hotel is-self is well appointed with great taste and with plenty of room, our room was massive and plush with a big bed. There was a good choice for the evening... More

What a great place! The facilities were very clean and the staff friendly. The bar was very nice and comfortable and the food good. It was a very nice experience. I paid for the extra price for the single bed in the Albergue part. Other people I knew stayed in the hotel and they liked it too.

Tastefully decorated, medieval style just beautiful. Fabulous hotel for the weary pilgrim and worth every penny. Lovely historical building, we had the opportunity to meet Don Pedro, he told us a good part of the history of the place. The staff very welcoming and helpful. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. We most definitely recommend this place for a pilgrim or... More

Fabulous hotel for the weary pilgrim and worth every penny. Lovely historical building, exceptionally welcoming and helpful staff, delicious dinner, nice deep bathtub with plenty of hot water, and a bed that's neither too hard nor too soft. Leaving this place tomorrow is going to be very difficult.

The first time impression was very good - coming again is even better; it’s like returning to your family. The owners and staffs show their appreciation for your recurring patronage. You feel yourself immediately at home. This kind of personal relationship is heart warming and long lasting. Look forward to our next visit.

While the luxurious surroundings were a delight and an unexpected respite from recent days, it was the genuine welcome from our host and all his staff which was so reaffirming A great place to rest on the journey. The staff made a huge sandwich for me next morning before the long walk to Ages
