Beautiful little town and the Hotel is a surprise. Twin beds again but a ceiling fan or AC would have been nice, after a 37 C day- hot night though, really need AC or a fan. The room was very clean but on the small size. Great deck nearby, which was good for drying our daily laundry. The bathroom was... More

We stayed here while walking the Camino Frances. I remember it with great fondness. Incredibly clean rooms and a warm experience. No one spoke English, but the smiles were warm and welcoming. Breakfast is standard - most items are from a package, but certainly adequate.

I thought I had walked into a care home by mistake, deathly quiet and people sitting around in a lounge area, looking somewhat askance at me, to the left of the entrance. All women, so I had a sudden concern that men were not welcome. This was not helped by the initial attitude of the nun on reception. She was... More

This is a nice, clean and comfortable hotel, which is actually a convent. An older nun was working the front desk and seemed completely lost as to what to do and without a word of English checking in was almost comical, but she was very pleasant. It was actually the housekeeper who helped. Very simple room, twin beds and a... More

Greeted warmly by nuns. Our room was very comfortable & we had a wonderful nights sleep after walking the day on the Camino. Close to bars & shopping in the town. We had breakfast for €4. We were given cordial orange juice, bread roll ham & chorizo & jam, and coffee. Better down town Wifi worked well in our room.... More

Stayed one night while walking the camino. Room ok but did feel like we were spending the night in an old folks home. Meals very basic and maybe don't bother with either here. Did get a good nights sleep so happy about that. Nuns were very pleasant.

A unique opportunity to stay in a convent! A bit chaotic trying to get our car into the Parc Ferme for the night, particularly if the Duty Nun doesn't know any English, or understand they have a very secure car park! Food was a bit Pilgrim, ok for those doing the Camino, but the room was clean, although the beds... More

We had been walking the Camino and were so tired of the albergues that we reserved a room here. They were very nice, extremely clean and the nuns who run the place super friendly. Ideal for exploring this wonderful medieval city. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I stayed at this hotel while walking the Camino de Santiago. It is sort of the street behind the Albergue and not far from the Parador. The check-in was a bit hectic, there was only one nun checking in all guest who comprised of a good mix of pilgrims and tourists. Once all was figured out (some patience is needed!),... More

Check-in was a bit hectic as the nun on duty seemed overwhelmed. Everything worked out well, including the antique elevator. There is a lot of beautiful old furniture in the common areas and a sense of serenity as you walk through to your room. The Hospederia has a bit of an institutional feel. We had a bright, clean room with... More
