Stayed one night while walking the camino. Room ok but did feel like we were spending the night in an old folks home. Meals very basic and maybe don't bother with either here. Did get a good nights sleep so happy about that. Nuns were very pleasant.

A unique opportunity to stay in a convent! A bit chaotic trying to get our car into the Parc Ferme for the night, particularly if the Duty Nun doesn't know any English, or understand they have a very secure car park! Food was a bit Pilgrim, ok for those doing the Camino, but the room was clean, although the beds... More

We had been walking the Camino and were so tired of the albergues that we reserved a room here. They were very nice, extremely clean and the nuns who run the place super friendly. Ideal for exploring this wonderful medieval city. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I stayed at this hotel while walking the Camino de Santiago. It is sort of the street behind the Albergue and not far from the Parador. The check-in was a bit hectic, there was only one nun checking in all guest who comprised of a good mix of pilgrims and tourists. Once all was figured out (some patience is needed!),... More

Check-in was a bit hectic as the nun on duty seemed overwhelmed. Everything worked out well, including the antique elevator. There is a lot of beautiful old furniture in the common areas and a sense of serenity as you walk through to your room. The Hospederia has a bit of an institutional feel. We had a bright, clean room with... More

The Hospederia is housed in a former convent run by nuns. Very atmospheric and cared for. The room was very cozy with a simple and functional bathroom. The breakfast costs € 4. The village is very small and the Hospederia is very central. A place full of charm and history!

This was easy to find by road but there was no immediate parking so parked a few streets away. As stated by others we were checked in by a Cistercian nun. Room was clean and comfortable. Very handily located for walking round Santo Domingo de la Calzada. Cathedral is a must and the caged chickens (cock and a hen) inside... More

We slept in this hotel during our camino de Santiago. It is in a good locatoni and it is hosted from people of the church. The rooms are very clean, the beds very comfortable and nothing special as forniture, and a cross with christ on the wall. It was for sure useful but with a kind of "hospice" taste .if... More

I was unprepared for a Cistercian nun checking me in, and could thing of nothing else than "Buenos días, Madre" to say. However, the check-in worked fine, the hotel room is simple, clean and with a crucifix on the wall. The location is excellent, right in the middle of Santo Domingo de la Calzada, and there is WiFi, and a... More
