As we are walking the Camino, when we saw this hotel , we were pleased. Nice lobby, very friendly staff. The rooms are generous in size but a bit tired. The carpet needs replacing but the room is very clean and the shower is great . We had a wonderful meal (pork and cod as mains), that everyone liked (6... More

Guess this hotel gets plenty of business from pilgrims on the Camino so has very little incentive to improve or renovate. As a result the rooms are very tired looking. One positive was that the wifi was very fast and the room was clean.

This was the first overnight stop for our group of 28 travelling along the Camino to Santiago de Compostela. We had all been on the go since the early hours of the morning leaving Gatwick and were pretty tired by the time we arrived. The bedroom was average with dull ochre coloured paint on the walls and mid green soft... More

This hotel is well located on the Camino, as others have said. I was with a tour party of 30 who had booked half-board. The dinner served to the group was not particularly tasty or generous: vegetable soup, a small plate of ungarnished meatballs and creme caramel. The bathroom was nice and the bedroom adequate, but the mattresses were very... More

We didn't have to look far to find this lovely hotel right on the Camino street and across from the pilgrim basic accommodation. We did not book in advance and found our room late in the morning before the demand got heavy. It was a Saturday which meant Market Day and we had a delightful time exploring this small city.... Room #108 had two twin beds with firm mattresses, good water pressure and plenty of hot water needed after Camino walk, wifi worked well, price is reasonable, and room was clean. Staff is also very kind and helpful. Air conditioning is only downstairs in public area and thankfully wasn't needed in the room. My only complaint is that there were... More

Santo Domingo is a wonderful stop on the Camino and the hotel is perfectly located Extreme sense of help and dedication to customers (ask Lucia for anything, she'll manage) Rooms are spacious (air condition does not work on ours but the night is cool enough) Price is very attractive for the hotel standard If you can ask for a room... We arrived in Santo Domingo de la Calzada with no accommodation pre-booked and just happened upon this hotel. We went to the Tourism Office anyway, but they could offer nothing else that was as good for the price. It is comfortable with nice lounges, friendly reception staff, and the rooms are spacious and clean. I can't quite recognise the photo... More
