We spent two nights at El Cerco. It was comfortable, quiet and clean, with helpful, friendly owners. Parking was easy, and the price of the breakfast (6 euros) wasn't unreasonable. All in all, a good stay, until checkout. The bill was given to me in euros, and I paid by credit card. Later, however, I noticed on my receipt that... More

I'm very surprised at your opinion on Tripadvisor when you said: "When I signed the credit card receipt, I didn't notice anything about dollars, although I admit it may have been there in small print" Usually we say to all our customers if they want to pay in local currency and, in the ticket, when signing, the price appear in... This hotel is in an old building but it is a very modern renovation. The owners obviously take great pride in what they have created. It is hard to dry clothes, and the guest book asks you to not wash clothes in the wash basin. It is very quiet and I slept well after walking from Pamplona on the Camino.... More

The hotel is located between old spanish houses, which do not really look attractive from outside. The more surprise, if you enter the hotel. Nicely decorated, very modern and clean. The room we had was a superior room on fouth floor. The room was spacious and great decorated. The bed was great and sleeping was good. The hotel was offering... More

Had a wonderful and restful stay at Hotel el Cerco after walking 13 miles of the Camino. This hotel is a true gem in a very small town. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was large with nice amenities. This place was very welcoming and we enjoyed a very nice and quiet evening after a long day of walking.

We did 7 days walking on the Camino in late August/early September and we stayed in Hotel El Cerco for just one night but we really loved it. The hotel has lots of character and our host was just fantastic. He greeted us from our walk with some glasses of cold lemon and water, which was just what we needed... More

Clean, well located about 100 metres off the Camino, bit pricey for a single 50 euro and it is a single not just one person in a double. No clothes washing facility if you are on camino but other facilities vg

Nice traditional hotel with lovely rooms and super bathroom, with great towels and amenities. Management was very helpful. A big problem that could not be remedied by the hotel, was the church bell which rang every 15 minutes all through the night and the cats which started to yowl 5 minutes before each bell rang. Not good for sleeping but... More

The hotel is in a central location (although in fact the town is very small), right on the old city walls. The rooms are spacious with a large bathroom and comfortably equipped. Dual access hotel, beacons parking facilities. Staff were very courteous and helpful. A lovely place!

You would never think you would get such luxury as you walk down the ancient street. My single room was more than adequate for a one night stopover on the Camino. Bathroom was great but thin walls between rooms. TV & Free WiFi. Very helpful staff. I left eary so missed out on breakfast. I'd recommend this place to everyone.

We stayed here on our recent Camino. Wow. Our room was stunning, more like a studio apartment. Clean modern furnishings, very comfortable bed. The hotel has a lovely and relaxing lounge on the first floor. Warm welcome and a great breakfast. Would recommend this highly for a bit of luxury on the Camino.
