I was very impressed with the Abaco Beach Resort. The best thing about was the staff: they were super friendly, helpful and efficient. Our accommodation was very good: the room was spotless and had everything we needed. The food and service in the Anglers Restaurant was excellent (we had both breakfast and one dinner here). The best thing of all... more

Abaco Beach Resort is overpriced and overrated I would give it 3-stars maximum. We stayed with teenagers and chose the resort because it claimed to have windsrufers, sailingboats, fitness room etc. The only water toys availabel were kayaks. The tennis raquets looked like they were 20 years old and in poor condition. The fitness room ahd serveral exercise maching -... more

My husband and I just returned from a trip to the Abaco Island. We had reservations at this resort and had planned to stay a week. We checked out after only one night. The place is a dump and a joke to all the Bahamians in Marsh Harbor and surrounding areas. We moved to a great condo in Treasure Cay... more

Rooms were nice, free Wireless Internet even though the front desk told me you had to come to the lobby to get online. Food in the main Restuarant is surprisingly good and reasonably priced. The hotel is way overpriced with lots of Resort fees, Taxes and Service charges, Beach is small and appears man made, big marina, easy walk to... more

The staff is nice, but beware that the resort's ads state that their beach amenities include windsurfers and sailboats, which they don't. We were very disappointed when we arrived and were told these are not available (and apparently never have been). The rooms are ok, but nothing special and seem overpriced compared to other places we've stayed with similar rates. more

It was a long winter with a lot of stress and we needed a get away to recharge. Abaco Beach Resort in the Bahamas gave us a spectacular setting, great weather, delicious food, super friendly staff, and plenty of fun and adventure for us and our 8 year old. Our room was clean & affordable, the large refreshing pool with... more

We had what could only be described as a wonderful Bahamian beach holiday at Abaco Beach Resort this Christmas season. The accomodations were top shelf and only surpassed by the friendly, attentive and personalized service we received from the staff in all areas of the resort. There is really nothing like Bahamian hospitality which made our stay , and the... more

I traveled to Marsh Harbour in the Abacos with my 2 sons for a father son fishing and boating get-away. We had an absolutely wonderful time! The Abaco Beach Resort is the perfect location and base for exploring the waters and islands of the Bahamas. The food and service were EXCELLENT. No commercial hype. This is the real Bahamas as... more

Do you enjoy paying a lot for smelly, dirty rooms that are poorly air-conditioned? Then this is the place for you. Property is run-down, service at the restaurant sub-par, room stinks like bug spray, cheap linens, air conditioning that won't cool the room below 78 degrees. What else can I say---BEWARE--STAY ELSEWHERE!! more

We went to the resort over Christmas thinking we'd have a nice, beach holiday. Overall, the experience was fine, but only because of our daily excursions to much better islands surrounding marsh harbour. We thought there would be white sand beaches as advertised on the website. The beach left a lot to be desired and fell far short of our... more
