My partner and I stayed a very comfortable night at Tudor Manor in the Regency Room. We thought the continental breakfast selections were more than ample and the room is fairly big but also has quite a spacious bathroom! The Regency Room is quite private and is absolutely bathed in sunlight. You need to keep the curtains closed unless you... More

We stayed in this B&B for one night as we made our way down to Wellington. The house is located in a quiet, well-to-do road a short walk from the sea front and centre. It's a shame to only give this place 3 stars, as the room was really nice, and the hosts were friendly, however the following things really... More

We stayed here for our first wedding anniversary and we quite enjoyed it. The property is quite big, includes a swimming pool and spa which is great. We went for the Regency room and it was great. The room itself was quite spacious with large windows looking over Tararuas (had the advantage of being on the first-floor). My wife really... More

We only had to travel from Wellington to spend a night away from the kids and celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. The room was very cute, in the French theme right down to the bedding, the lighting, the mirror and the little ornaments throughout the room. It was lovely and quiet around the back of the house. We went out... More

I stayed at Paraparaumu just for visiting Kapiti Island, so the location of this place can't be better, it's only 7-minute walk from where the boat departs. Of course the room is very comfortable and super clean. The best are the hosts, Lisa and Vince, they truly took care of me. I sprained my ankle while hiking on Kapiti Island,... More

We reserved at a time when hotel rooms in Wellington were scarce, and were somewhat in suspense as to what awaited us. Well, accommodations, the accessibility to the city, the small-town atmosphere and opportunities for shore-side and inland hiking - even some unforgettable hospitality in a seaside pub with a crazy Karioke hour (i.e., quiet walks along the sea, a... Our Regency room was lovely, quiet, well-appointed and very comfortable, but what was truly exceptional were our hosts, Lisa and Vince. In all the places we have traveled in the world, we have never encountered anyone who went so far above and beyond an innkeeper's common courtesy and hospitality. Following our one night stay, Lisa and Vince stored our oversized... More

We received a very friendly welcome and were immediately invited to use the pool despite our late arrival. It was nice to be somewhere more like home than a motel for a change. The property and garden are lovely and our room (Bordeaux) with its own access was beautifully furnished. Everything was of real quality - eg. the bed cover... More
