Very clean and spacious motel for couples, located at Main Street in Matamata. 10-15 walk from I-site only. Comfortable king size bed and clean washroom. Well equipped kitchen that you can grab food from countdown nearby. Helpful and friendly owners. The only cons is wifi connection not really stable. Other than that, best motel to stay for your hobbiton tour.... More

This motel is at the end of town, a 5 minute walk from restaurants and shops so very handy. 10-15 minutes drive to museum, hot pools, tramping etc. Unless you hire the more expensive rooms the decor is quite tired so it's not the cheapest motel for the money (although probably the best value in Matamata, where motels tend to... Thankyou for staying with us. We have 4 standard units left which as described on our website "are an older style", the price reflecting this. The good news is by the end of this year, we'll only have 3 , as we are half way through rennovations on one standard unit. More

I stayed in one of the Miro Court villas, and absolutely LOVED my time there. I'm not a big spender, and I had spent the previous two weeks in hostels, but I've never stayed somewhere so luxious! For me, what made it such a treat, was all the little amenities such as the free tea/coffee/hot chocolate, the plush bath robes,... More

We made a last minute decision to attend the Field Days at Mystrey Creek. Matamata was the closet town with any accommodation available. After arriving at Broadway Motel(2 night stay) any regret about booking something earlier and closer was forgotten. The service was outstanding, very warm welcoming and friendly. The room was very comfortable, spacious, well equipped and spotless. The tariff... More

We just returned home from our journey around New Zealand, We travelled from the South Island to The North island. The Broadway Motel was a favourite of ours. The Owners Diann and Tony were lovely and very friendly! What we thought was really cute and sweet about the motel was the DVD players you are able to borrow from them... More

We spent a night at Broadway Motel after going to Hobbiton. The owner was really friendly and hardworking. He offered us a choice of unit - some are refurbished and some are not but both looked clean and comfortable. The Motel is central and it is an easy, quick walk to shops and the information centre where the coach leaves... More

My mother and I stayed in a the Micro Court Villa for one night for a funeral. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable and spacious. It was so nice to see a lovely white bedspread. The bathroom was nice and big with a big shower. There were nice toiletries and a beautiful plush dressing gown which was a luxury as we... More

Stayed in one of the Family apartments. Spacious, beautifully appointed and modern. A lawn for the kids to play on with scooters, trikes, etc provided. A trampoline. Two pools (one shallow, one deep) and a spa. A 5 minute walk to town with a wide variety of eateries. A great place to stay if you are visiting Hobbiton, and about... More

We stayed in a deluxe two bedroom apartment. It was spacious and great value. Just a short walk into town. The hot tub was nice on a cold day. The outside space for children was large and well stocked with quality outdoor toys. Very comfortable beds and pillows. There was a communal laundry. The only downside was all of the... More

We stayed here for two nights so we could do the obligatory visit to Hobbiton. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable and well equipped and the owners friendly and helpful. Can thoroughly recommend.
