we stayed in two units and it was very nice. clean/neat/tidy and very close to the town centre. would certainly go back if it was for 2+nights stay. the host were very friendly, they made the entire stay very comfortable. 30minutes from cambridge so it worked out very handy for us as we celebrated mom's bday in that town.

We attended a wedding in Matamata on a hot Saturday in December 2010 and stayed the night at the Maple Lodge. This is an older style motel, but we could not fault it. Very very clean and helpful friendly hosts. Good beds and bedding. We can recommend this central motel.

Everything about it was fantastic, Beautiful room and spotlessly clean. We were made so welcome, it started when we walked in and the owner gave us an ice cold beer! It really was one of the nicest places we stayed on our trip,
