We were fortunate enough to visit the Kasbah for a day and night as part of a group trip. We spent 2 days in marrakesh then up to the mountains. Everything about this place screams decadence. The staff were so polite, the food lovely and our garden room was idyllic. I had a massage too which was reasonably priced and... More

While staying in Marrakesch, last September, we asked Mohamed from 'Colours of Morocco'' (see review) to book us lunch at the Kasbah Tamadot and arrange appropriate transport with a knowledgeable driver. Previously we had heard of the Kasbah Tamadot as being 'Richard Branson's Hotel'--Deluxe, Expensive, Exclusive, Remote and with Superb Views--Situated high up in the Atlas Mountains and reached only... We recently spent 2 nights at Kasbah Tamadot to celebrate a major birthday. Like other Virgin Limited Edition properties it really excels on service. The staff could not be more helpful and the managers (especially Kathryn) make sure that they get to know all of their guests. We had booked a superior suite but were upgraded to a Berber Tent,... It is a perfect location from where to explore the Atlas mountains and the rooms are beautiful as in fact is the whole place. Unfortunately the restaurants let the place down a bit.

I arrive at Kasbah Tamadot late, so I have not yet seen its natural beauty. The welcome I get at the front desk from the management is very warm indeed .The manager Vincent seems a bon viveur ,everything a good GM should be.I immediately feel good about this place.I walk through the pathway past the Grand Tent rooms, they seem well designed.... We first visited Kasbah Tamadot for three nights at the end of January 2010 following a four day visit to Marrakech and I fell totally and utterly in love with the place. So much so that we went back for a three night stay in March and then again in May the same year. Finances restricted our visits to only... More

We stayed here in 2010 and were captivated by the place and this year returned in 2011 with some friends. Two days before we arrived we were offered upgrades to two of the newly completed Berber tents, which are the height of luxury and privacy. Everything about the hotel is exceptional but the most impressive thing was that several of... More

This hotel is absolutley stunning! the views are amazing. The food is fantastic and the staff are incredible. It is very expensive as Morrocan hotels go but when you arrive you will understand why. The rooms were incredible. We managed to get the little free standing room on the far end of the pool, it had its own sun terrace... More

This hotel was recommend to me by a friend who is also a travel agent. I have stayed in many luxury hotels but never one as charming as the Kasbah Tamadot, which is owned by Sir Richard Branson. The setting is dramatic with stunning mountain and canyon views. Beautifully appointed, the hotel feels like staying in a private villa, which... More

Stayed on a business trip with partners earlier this year, staff fantastic and make you feel quite humble. Beautiful views of the Atlas mountains, especially if you take breakfast on the terrace. We ate some of the most amazing food ever, the head waiter was excellent and did everything to ensure our stay lived upto our expectations. Champagne on the... More
