While the silly gps didn't quite get us to the door, what a paradise perched on the hillside. Awesome terraces to sit at and enjoy the view. Pool deck is awesome. Loved our room , a mix of the old rock wall and new modern walls. Great views. Understand you do have stairs to walk up, and the rooms are... More

We stayed for 5 nights at Borgo Hedone after a recommendation from a friend. We arrived late at night during a festival in the town, but Flavio and Mara had kindly waited late to welcome us to the Borgo and were lovely and welcoming throughout. Really nice to have met them both. They kindly organised yoga at sunset on the... More

We have visited the Hedone Palace in summer 2014 and stayed there for a couple of days. The location is very special as the hotel is (partly) integrated in the mountain. The facilities exceeded our expectations with the indoor and outdoor swimming pool and the cinema room located in the cave. The hotel is small and gives an exclusive feeling.... More

I suspect and regret that this will be the final review of Palazzo Hedone, but we greatly appreciated the opportunity to enjoy the hospitality and imagination of Axel and Sylvain. The Palazzo was normally only open to groups, so whatever divine intervention that allowed us to spend a week was divine indeed! We had begun our extended vacation in Sicily... More

We booked Palazzo Hedone for a get together with friends. We stayed for a week and had an amazing time. Axel and Sylvain (the owners) were charming and always helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble. The rooms are spectacular and well appointed, the location is right in the historic heart of the baroque town of Scicli. The Palazzo looks over... More

My wife and I stayed at Palazzo Hedone for 2 nights because another hotel was booked. The biggest plus about staying here was the service and the relaxing atmosphere. Ignacio and Sylvan were really helpful in recommending restaurants, making other bookings for us at other points in our itinerary, and making us feel like if we needed anything that they'd... More

Arriving in this beautiful palazzo makes you feel coming at home welcomed by the 2 gentile owners. The location of this palazzo is just breathtaking. typical Sicilian steps accompagnied with beautiful flowers bring you to the entrance door. I would advise to contact the hotel of your hour of arrival because the way up with your luggage is quite challenging.... More

We booked this hotel for two nights and ended up staying for five. We were lucky enough to stay before the season really started so pretty much had the place to ourselves, which is part of the reason we couldn't bring ourselves to leave. We also stayed in two different rooms, both of which were tastefully decorated but completely different.... More

Our hosts Axel and Sylvain have put a beautiful and personal stamp on a piece of Sicilan baroque heritage. The setting is fantastic and the welcome warm. Scicli is smaller and more laid back than its famous nieghbouring towns but provides an excellent base for visiting them - and the local marina - Marina de Ragusa - is very pleasant... More
