Not much choice of hotels in Scicli, but this despite a lack of competition is an excellent hotel. Very well run, friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located for walking around Scicli and a great base for visiting Ragusa and Modica. Some fantastic beaches close by, such as Sampiedra, DonnaLucatta, in fact the whole coast along here is excellent for beach... More

This hotel was truly wondrous. My husband and I could not believe the quality of service and the genuine kindness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for Vicenzo or Luigi. Breakfasts were exceptional with lots of chances to sample speciality Sicilian cuisine. Beautiful design throughout and many suggestions as to where to dine in the evening. With an... More

We spent a fantastic week in this wonderful hotel. We had a superior room with a king size bed and large shower room. The staff are friendly and do speak some English - helping us with our car problems! The breakfasts are lovely and the coffee the best I have had for a long while. Pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, local... More

The hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room with a king size bed was very clean, had effective air conditioning and there was plenty of storage space. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a great choice of fresh fruit, cereals, bread, cheeses and pastries. Would certainly stay here again if visiting this part of Sicily.

If you are going solo to Scicly I highly recommend the Hotel Novecento. The stylish interior is encased in an antique building of beauty. It is sited right in the heart of the magnificent Baroque town with an amazing selection of architectural gems. There are stunning churches and palaces festooned with gargoyles. My single room was really spacious with a... More

This is a lovely, boutique hotel in the heart of the old-town of Scicli. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. Our room had excellent lighting - the best we have experienced in any hotel in Italy - including LED lights recessed throughout the bedroom and bathroom. Bathroom was large with decent-sized shower. The hotel had the absolute best breakfast... More

Hotel Novecento was our 2nd hotel in Sicily. Not an easy hotel to find, Even getting the right route into Scicli is pretty important and its not especially easy to park there either, but do-able. Sat Nav is almost essential ! So time your journey to arrive in daylight if you can and avoid the normal busy times. We had... More

Just returned from a two week east - west tour of Sicily covering some 1500km ! We spent 4 nights at the Novecento and it was nothing short of perfect. The deluxe double room had everything we needed and the breakfasts were simply stunning, showcasing some of the best Sicilian food we experienced in the whole two weeks, there was... More

An atmospheric, friendly (family-run), small hotel, in the heart of charming Scicli. Although difficult to find (and equally difficult to park your car!) the great bonus is that it is within easy walking distance of the main square, restaurants, and cafés - and impressive stone buildings. The hotel was very clean, the continental breakfasts were good, in a pleasant dining... More

I would strongly recommend not arriving in Sicily late in the day as we did. The car hire facility at Catania airport was chaotic and it was dark by the time we set out for Scicli, so we were exhausted and frazzled by the time we arrived. We stayed 4 nights in a deluxe room and 3 in the suite... More
