Very nice place. Friendly and more affordable comparing to others. The town is charming on its way and worth to visit. In August the weather is lovely. Good photography as well. The accommodations are good and comfortable.

Excellent in every way. The location is perfect, right by the old centre of town, 5 minutes’ walk from the harbour. The whole place is modern and bright, the bedroom and bathroom have everything you need. Most important, the bed is very comfortable. There is WiFi – it costs DKK 60 per hour. They also offer a free pick-up/drop-off from... More

I stayed at the seamen's home after my trek on the Arctic circle trail. That's a friendly and welcoming place with nice staff. The cafeteria downstairs is popular with locals and tourists alike. Clean and tidy. This is a real hotel looking, not barrack-like houses. Internet is expensive, but so it is in all greenland.

Sisimiut is a picturesque little town worth visiting. Unfortunately the taxidrivers did not care to go to the airport for arriving passengers, so it took me 1 hours in the freezing cold before I was able to arrive. There is no airportbus, and hotels says they dont want to make competition for the taxi drivers...which competition when they dont care... More

Upside: - Central location, close to museum, harbor, supermarket, bus station (yes, Sismiut has a city bus! For 10 DKK it gives you a tour of every house in town. We discovered a couple of interesting places just by hopping on.) - Comfortable rooms, large bathrooms. - Very helpful staff. Let us keep our room until late and drove us... More

Most accommodation in Sisimut is expensive by our standards. This was comparatively good value for money. We had Wi-fi, breakfast included, and a huge room with bathroom. Staff were friendly and we even got our laundry done for a small charge. Its in a convenient location too, walking distance of everywhere. The nearby port is worth visiting to see the... More

This is a very nice place. The furnishing are modest, but it is in such a beautiful location and the people are extremely helpful. It is not often that you end up in Sisimiut, and I highly recommend the Seamen's home if you need a place to stay. Everything in the small town is in close walking distance, and you... More
