Amazing concept with individual rooms around this unspoilt medieval hill top town. Every room a one off. We stayed in the suite named Portico which was on 2 levels. The bathroom and sitting area with small kitchen was below the galleried bedroom accessed by a spiral staircase - not great in the middle of the night!! Truly a unique experience.... More

We stayed here for one night for New Year's Eve. The staff were helpful but be advised that you will have to carry your bags along the narrow streets and up the steps to get to your room. Tastefully and comfortably restored yet still very authentic.

My husband and I travelled here for our honeymoon. It was one of the stops on our European tour. We were coming from Tuscany and the GPS took us on the most dangerous and scariest route we've ever been on. BTW we had a rental so we drove from one place to the next. My husband and I were lost,... Some friends gave us a voucher for 2 night as a presents and we stayed last week. The room is very nice, clean. The location is wonderful even if it might be difficult to reach some of the rooms since they are spread out through Apricale. The village is very unique and romantic. The only cons is that populated by... More

We stayed last night...had two rooms almost at the top of the town. They were decorated in an idiosyncratic and charming fashion and we loved it. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Bags were taken up the cobbled streets and carried to our rooms by a staff member and we were given ample info about the town. The town... More

The Rooms are spread around the old town, the staff were very nice and helpful, the room is very comfortable. There is no entrance for cars, only unique vehicles that allow and practically can enter the city. It was an excellent experience to get lost in the small streets. The restaurant in the city square is excellent with very nice... More

We have just had a couple of nights at this Albergo Diffuso, having discovered it via the Albergo Diffuso website. The staff were welcoming and helpful, telling us about the village and what to do etc. However, the beds in the twin room were short and narrow, with an uncomfortable mattress so we didn't sleep well. I have stayed in... More

This is not a hotel, but a unique experience. The village of Apricale itself is fabolous and unique. One other plus: the family that runs it, welcomes you, makes you feel at home and helps a lot for anything you might need... the breakfast they prepare for you: a real italian homemade breakfast, BEST breakfast ever had in my life.

The rooms were well appointed and were ideal for a short stay. WiFi in the room we had was also a bonus despite what others have said. If we were staying for any period of time, and especially if it were in the summer, I don't think the room we had would be ideal as there was nowhere, even close... More
