Nice big room, great views to the sea. Everyday cleaning, very tidy and quite modern. Good location. Minus from, restaurant and restaurant staff. Not very good internet connecton, noisy AC unit. But very good value for money, we stayed here for couple of weeks and paid only 900baht per night, without breakfast. (Thank god, the breakfast was terrible.) But definetly... More

After strolling around several (30+) hotels in the area while my girlfriend was sick in hospital, I found First Residence to be the best value for money at 900Baht per night in peak season. It doesn't overlook the beach, but it's only a 2 minute walk away. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are to a really... More

Myself and eight other friends stayed here while travelling around Thailand. Initially we stayed two nights and we so impressed we decided to book one more night for the following week. The hotel is clean and the staff are very helpful. When staying in this hotel, you have access to the facilities at the sister (and more expensive) hotel including... More

This hotel was lovely. Instantly we got that impression when the staff where so welcoming. The rooms are very clean and modern. The pool is big. The restaurant food is ok but wouldn't optionally choose to eat there. We booked this at an off peak time so we got a great price it may be a lot more expensive in... More

The rooms were clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The position of the hotel is at the far end of. Chaweng away from the main shopping and Restaurant area, but within walking distance. The only down side was it was a little too close to the road but saying that was good value for money. The beach at Chaweng... More

We came during the lowseason in November and the hotell was almost empty. We really liked the rooms, which are very big and have balconys. The pool is also good. The hotell would have been perfect if it was closer to the center. You had to walk 20-30 mins to get to the middle and 10-15 mins to the beach.

great cost benefit, if you just want a good hotel, but not a resort in samui. I stayed there for 2 nights before going to the full moon party. This wasn´t a good choice, if you happen to go there just to go to the full moon party it is better to stay in koh phan ngan

I've been there with 2 friends on august 2013, we've been given 2 adjoining rooms, in the Master room there were no huge problems except for the noisy air conditioning.. (i had to buy earplugs) in the second room the air conditioning was not working at all! they tried to fix it, during the night, and after an hour the... More

The reception is efficient but do not expect much English. Rooms are modern but shower had problem with water. The pool is not attractive at all and location is a bit out of Chaweng center but within walking distance. OK place to stay at but nothing special!

We really enjoyed our stay there. As a family we had our own double bedroom with an interlinking twin room for the kids, the beach was a 5 to 10 minute walk away (depending on speed of kids) and the pool was big enough for adults as well as kids and was kept beautifully clean. We walked into town on... More
