We stayed 30 days at Samui First House Resort last May/June in the older section for 1000 Baut per night which was the best deal that Agoda was offering in Samui at the time. We liked this property for several reasons. First, the location was perfect for us being sandwiched in-between Chaweng and Chaweng Noi beaches where we could walk... More

We spent Christmas and New Years at the hotel. Even though it was NOTHING like european christmas, i am SO stunned that all the staffmembers did there upper most, so that the guests would feel, like they were in a snowy place. And not negative - they really did a great effort to entertain, be serviceminded - everything. THUMBS UP!... More

It is always hard to choose a hotel based on reading previous reviews. There seem to be so many really negative reviews and then some really good ones with this particular hotel. Basically, this hotel offer a "standard" more budget room in the older wing - with no view, but also have the better rooms overlooking the pool and then... More

Recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed. Our room was literally half a meter from the next building looking out onto their rusty AC units. No balcony. The kind of place where the towels dont absorb water, the soap doesnt completely rinse off your hands and the water eventually drains from the sink and tub...if you're lucky. Also a... More

We had the unfortunate pleasure of checking in to this hotel yesterday. On arrival we were greeted by 2 young girls who were rude, laughing and acting as if they couldn't be bothered to work at all. We checked in to our first room a standard, as purchased through agoda. The toilet seat was broken, the bath completely stained red,... More

We stayed in the hotel for about 12 nights and I can say that this place is just for those who want to have a nice clean beach, a cosy room, great variety of different cafes and restaurants within easy reach. I would come back to this place with great pleasure.

My boyfriend and I went to this hotel last summer. The staff was just wonderful! Cheap hotel and great service. Chaw eng beach is 2 min away.. The only thing I could complain about was the breakfast, it was below average.

The hotel is at the bottom end of Chaweng beach. We tended to walk out and get a taxi back. The rooms were very clean with powerful showers and a balcony. The pool area has sun loungers and gets the sun all day. Check out time was reasonable at 12pm and there was a shower we could use (although it... More
