The breakfast buffet is pretty average service is good and the staff are friendly. I hired a scooter from the shop around the corner. It was a nice quiet place away from the hustle and bustle, but I ate out all the time around the corner, especially at the little Seaside bungalows next door where the food is great and... More

The only positive thing to say about the hotel is that it's really close to the sea. But you have to consider that it's far from the center for night life: you will have to rene a bike or take a taxi. The ac is really noisy and it's hard to manage to sleep and, if you succeed, you will... More

Stayed here for 2 nights recently during our Thailand tour. Reception staff was eager to help and always welcoming, restaurant staff needs proper training in guest relations. Resort has an amazing location, as it is actually located between 2 beaches - chaweng and it's southern part - chaweng noi. Private beach and sunbeds are at chaweng noi, but we enjoined... More

Stayed here for 9 nights in feb 2015. Pros: - welcome juice at check in, quick and smooth check in. - private beach, sunbeds and umbrellas avail all day. (95%of resorts have private beaches in Samui) - balcony with each room - breakfast buffet included -nice pool and jacuzzi - well working wifi - restaurant food was good but small... More

This hotel has a great location for families, not too far from chaweng centre but in a nice relaxed atmosphere. Has its own pvt beach where food and drink can be purchased and sunbeds, relax by the pool with drinks just so relaxing. I'm back in October 2015

When I was booking this hotel I was not aware that there are several buildings in the same area, under the same name. I got the worst one, maybe by not booking the right thing or maybe by being cheated on the reception - I am not sure. So make sure you specify whether you want to book in the... More

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at First House for our 5 days here. The location is great (off the main party zone) - good beach spot. The hotel itself is a bit dated with temperamental wifi and old but the room was big and the air con worked well. The staff was friendly enough but communication was a... More

We stayed 30 days at Samui First House Resort last May/June in the older section for 1000 Baut per night which was the best deal that Agoda was offering in Samui at the time. We liked this property for several reasons. First, the location was perfect for us being sandwiched in-between Chaweng and Chaweng Noi beaches where we could walk... More

We spent Christmas and New Years at the hotel. Even though it was NOTHING like european christmas, i am SO stunned that all the staffmembers did there upper most, so that the guests would feel, like they were in a snowy place. And not negative - they really did a great effort to entertain, be serviceminded - everything. THUMBS UP!... More

It is always hard to choose a hotel based on reading previous reviews. There seem to be so many really negative reviews and then some really good ones with this particular hotel. Basically, this hotel offer a "standard" more budget room in the older wing - with no view, but also have the better rooms overlooking the pool and then... More
