Had the cheapest room which had no view but that is ok with me. The rim and bathroom excellent with comfy bed. Very quiet place and a long walk from centre of chaweng. Staff friendly enough but seemed a little tired and stressed and I didn't even get s goodbye when I checked out! Would have been nice

if you not have luxury expectations and you want stay in a simple room close to the beach here you are right. Cheap bungalows, cheap food. Meet the owner family. Rooms are clean and nothing to complain!

We booked the "first room" which looks ok online. On arrival we we taken way down the back of the resort, actually out the gate and into the external prison complex which contains the first rooms. Smelled bad, bathroom full of ants, bed bugs and a balcony view directly into the neighbors cell. The outside light from the room opposite... More

My partner and I have been travelling around Southeast Asia for two months now, and this has been by far the absolute worst place we have stayed. Our room smelt rotten and musty, the air conditioning was so loud, and the bed was rock hard. The whole room in general was very dated definitely not up to standard for what... More

This hotel is bisected by a dirty tidal stream and, in general, is in a very run down state. The owners must be blamed, as there has been no capital spend for many years it would seem. The frontline staff (cleaners, beach man, masseuses) are fantastic, but as previously reported, the front of house staff are unhelpful, which is being... More

Koh Samui is such a lovely friendly island. It's a real shame the management and staff of this hotel try their hardest to be as rude as possible and I leave with a bitter taste in my mouth. Not what I thought when I booked in for a week's stay in a bungalow in the beach. The reception staff seem... More

very quite location on chaweng beach. Beautiful swimming pool, very good service . The beach is kind of privet. Bed shower good. Weak wifi as everywhere in Thailand. Nice breakfast. Second time in this hotel will come back for sure.

The location is good, the hotel is alright, the staff are nice enough. The restaurant is slow, overpriced and small portions. The beds are very hard and we are in a 4th floor walkup. But the hotel is fine. I would give it a 2.5 out of 5 perhaps. BUT our problem is with the acceptance by the hotel of... More

Fantastic view. Right at the sea. Incrediable good personel. They took me for no charge out all nights and also a round trip. Ask for Lazy Oat he can fix a Bungalow fisrst class for 3000 BHT a night. TIP HIM !5% on everything. AND remember that not eating everything on your plate is an insult, because he makes 6000... More

Had a great stay for two nights at First Beach Bungalow. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and service was very good. Perhaps the best part of this resort is how far away it is from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng Beach. This was exactly what I was looking for after a hectic few days in Bangkok. If your looking...
