This property is located at Chaweng, but its quite far from the happening area of the beach. However saying that, it really is a pretty resort. The rooms are big and spacious, although the bathrooms are little cramped. The pool is beautiful and so is the restaurant overlooking the sea. The staff is sweet and courteous and served us breakfast even... More

We enjoyed our stay here. I like the way the rooms are decorated and everything is really well maintained. Only problem is the bed is so so hard. Could not have slept on this for longer than 3 nights! Which is a shame. Breakfast is also not too good but the cocktail bar with sea view was a highlight,

Baan Talay is a tidy little establishment located on the southern end of chaweng beach. It's out of the centre (but not far) so fairy quiet. All round good facilities. Small self contained bungalow type accommodation. Clean, functional and fairly modern. Beds are super comfy. Breakfast not really worth getting out of bed for but for the $$ can't complain... More

The hotel is right on the beach with an amazing open restaurant/bar. The rooms are very clean, perhaps a little tired, but really good value for money. The swimming pool is lovely and the grounds are very well maintained. Staff at the hotel were attentive and eager to please. I would recommend the hotel if you don't want to spend... More

I asked my travel agent to find somewhere where I could wake up on the beach, stroll to the pool, get a decent cocktail and not be bothered by throngs of people. Did Baan Talay deliver and then some! We arrived at night and soon discovered the resort was toward the south of crazy Chaweng Beach. A good spot if... More

Good location (quiter area of chaweng beach but very close to restaurants and shops), very nice and helpfull staff, great breakfast with lot of choices, the only thing we were mad about was all the children screaming by the pool the whole day, and as the seas was rough, you wanted to relax by the pool and couldnt because of... This is a beautiful hotel located just next to the beach. The coffee house is over the beach and it is a wonderful place to fill our stomachs, chat and relax. Breakfast is simple and well prepared. We had lunch there and it was delicious too. The staff at the reception, the café and housekeeping are very polite and efficient.... More

The best beach at Kho Samui is chaweng beach, at least from february until september, not so mush in the high seson-winter time, then the beach sort of is gone because of the big waves. But spring, summer and fall it is the best! It is pretty expensive to stay heer, to be in Thailand, I must say. But for... More

We spent 11 days at Baan Talay in a large family group in various rooms. The rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet. Staff were friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was good, although a little more variety would've made it better. Food and drinks at the restaurant were reasonably priced and consistently very good. The pool was clean, and most days... More

This hotel has a great ambience and location. The swimming pool opens right in front of the beach. The restaurant is also on the beach. The staff is friendly but the toilets here are bit fussy. Overall a great experience here
