Clean, modern and stylish hotel with spacious rooms and friendly staff in the middle zof the city. Beds are big and really comfortable. Nice little rooftop pool. There was nothing to complain about. Didn't try the breakfast, but the coffee was not that overwhelming. Perfect for a short stay in Chaweng and absolutely value the money.

I had difficult to find a hotel in Koh Phangan for the New Year's Eve, because of the requirements of minimum stay. So I tried to find any hotel in Koh Samui and I got to this because of the price and the quality I identified in the photos of the hotel. I realized it was an excellent choice, because... More

Pricey pricey pricey!!!! Stuff don't know English. Bed is not comfort, really bad sleeping experience. No breakfast. No shower windows or vent so its always smells. Average wifi. Shuttle service is extremely expensive. Not even good one reason to stay here.

We booked this hotel based on reviews from others but our stay was very disappointed. First of all we expected a lot more value for our money. We payed 28.000 baht for 6 days or around 120 euro per day and breakfast wasn't even included. Breakfast was at 200 baht and was very poor. Coffee or tea with 2 toasts,... More

The hotel is new and very good! The room is modern and there is a sink, plates and microwave. The hotel facilities is great except the pool witch is very small! And there is no beach. In addition it's very far from the center of Chaweng. Besides that it was a great stay with a fare price.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here about 4 weeks ago. It was one of our first stops of our holiday. Having been to Koh Samui before, we knew we definitely wanted to stay around this area. We had a great stay at Ploen! The rooms are extremely clean and brand new. The staff our very friendly and I think it... More

We were staying in Ploen from 26th- 29th July 14. Receptionist greeted us with such a pleasant and welcoming smile and room was brand new, clean and worth for money that we paid since we got it for discounted rate and decided to continue staying there. Will stay here again in our future visit. Prem & Gaya, Penang.

I read reviews inferring that the Hotel was refurbished and all complete. This was not the case when I arrived early July. The roof bar/café was closed and the lifts were out of action and being worked on. Noise would start quite early ! I had to be moved from my first room because of the works going on. Would... More

On my arrival in Koh Samui I stayed in Al's resorts on Chaweng Beach, I paid 2,500 BHTs Around $85US, per night, the room was small, with a super small bathroom, and also the TV was so old it reminded me of the black/white tv that my grand father used. After a few days of research I found Ploen hotel... More
