It is Great location two minutes from the beach  & shops bars !  We booked for 2 night but extended 3 more nights. The rooms are basic but nice and clean ! The Italian restaurant downstairs is really delicious and so fresh with an open kitchen where Cyril “ the Owner” will prepare his delicious food, don’t forget to try the Homemade Chocolat fondant... We booked Urban Guesthouse based on the great reviews. Upon making our booking we received an email asking us to confirm our arrival time and giving detailed directions. The day before we were due to check in we received an email from the manager notifying us of some sudden construction work which was resulting in 'some noise and dust' and... More

We were drawn in by the cool arty vibe in the downstairs restaurant/bar and noticed it was also a guesthouse. The rooms are super clean and safe, ours had cable tv and a DVD player. It is situated 30 secs from Chaweng beach walk leading to the nicest end of Chaweng beach and on a few nights a week is... More

We only stopped for dinner and brunch and the food was amazing, the owner was really hospitable and couldn't do more for us. He makes all the food from scratch at the front of the restaurant. I definitely recommend eating there, the flavours are perfect!!!!

Saw the urban guesthouse on trip advisor and we were determined to stay. When we got there we were greeted by the owner and chef Cyril. He has to be one of the most humble kind man I have ever met; he sorted us out with rooms straight away and offered us any advice we may have wanted. Cyril will... More

We were travelling in a group of 4 and stayed for initially 3 nights but because of how good everything was we stayed an extra night. The rooms are tired and old, with very hard beds and only one pillow placed on each with just a small blanket at the end. The room was the hottest I'm the building and you were charged an extra 150 baht for the air con but the day we stayed was when the owner was off and the shop shut... More
