Can only say 1 bad thing and thats no pool but who cares when there a beach right across the road as well as other pools. I found the staff very friendly and helpful and beds very comfortable, my friend stayed across the road right on the beach paid triple the price but only things she had better at her... More

The pictures are not all from this hotel!! This hotel does not have a pool! Some one has mixed up the hotels that have similar names. Staff was nice but did not apologize the wrong information (pictures of a pool). They should keep an eye on these kind of things and fix it. Definitely overpriced.

While the hotel website states high speed internet (http://www.chawengbeach-hotel.com/?page_id=11), this doesn't seem to apply inside rooms if you are on a high floor, only at reception. Also, to be clear as it may be confusing from prior reviews, this hotel does not have a pool. However, the rooms are clean and simple with optional free basic breakfast being a nice... More

This hotel is absolutely shocking and you should take all chances to try avoid it. The service is ridiculously horrendous and the rooms are very poorly kept. Upon arriving at the hotel we booked a deluxe room which housed essentially 2 mattresses on the floor. About 3 hours in the air conditioning stopped and we were forced to change rooms... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in January and travelled with a group of friends who shared rooms on the same level as us. The hotel is very basic and so was the room - queen bed, TV, air con, shower and bathroom all on tiled floors - though the room was rather spacious. There are no lifts in the... More

Very basic rooms but clean and comfortable and good for a short stay or a stop off between flights. Staff were willing to help at all hours and pretty good value considering the others in the area. Could do with a bit more chatacter though

This is one of the hotels that doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but for the price of the nightly rate, I was happy and satisfied with the lodgings. Central to most places including the Ark Bar (and the other clubs) and shopping. Close to a 7/11 - and most ATMs. Staff are very friendly, even though there is... More

We only stayed here one night before flying from Koh Samui. Nice small hotel not far from the beach. Clean with good sized bedroom and excellent bathroom. Adequate set breakfast served in the small dining area at the front of the hotel. If you intended to stay in Koh Samui on a budget this would be good as you only... More

The rooms were cleaned daily provided you give them the keys when you go out. It's not on the beach but it's cheap and does it really matter? You're in Thailand, you aren't spending your days in your hotel (unless outrageously hungover and you don't care about the view - just the toilet flushing -which it does). There's no pool... More

We only stayed one night as we were in transit. The hotel was fine for this purpose but I wouldn't spend a great deal more time here unless you're on a tight budget and want to be quite close the the Chaweng action. Since its hot right in the heart of Chaweng, it's not so noisy at night. Breakfast consisted... More
