This was my second time in this hotel and the experience has been horrible. Poor service, poor attention we were alone in the hotel with no receptionist or hotel staff to our attention, with only one emergency number. Our lasta night there our room (suite ) was filled with water by a giant leak when it started raining . The... More

A friendly welcome at entrance after a hilly bikeride from St Jean de Luz set the stage for a wonderfull lunch. 4 courses in a perfect setting, and highly skilled serving. Impressive deconstructed paella, and great lamb saddle on artichoks puree. The scenery is great as well.

We stayed here for two nights in early June. The rooms are large and very tastefully decorated in neutral, soothing colors. Some have beautiful views of the countryside. The bathroom was modern and large. Everywhere in the hotel was impeccably clean. The restaurant was exceptionally good. The breakfast was delicious. All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The view of the mountains from this location is just breathtaking. However the food in the restaurant is very very pricey and not up to the standards of similar Michelin starred restaurants in Saint Jean de Luz.

I looked at this hotel on TripAdvisor after my stay and was wondering how anyone could give this a less than 5* Excellent. This is one great hotel, and very reasonably priced. We booked a room on the top floor. Very spacious, loads of character. Whisper quiet. I can see that wheelchair access might be a problem, as on reviewer... More

We have just returned from our holidays which included one night in this hotel on 31st of August. On the positive side, we really enjoyed your location and also the food was terrific. However an issue I wish to point out is that the room that they provided as being wheelchair accessible is far too small to be considered as... More

My husband and I stayed here at the end of our month long vacation and could not have been happier with our choice. An impeccable hotel and restaurant. We were planning on staying only one night.... But this intriguing part of the world and divine hotel and restaurant wooed us into an additional two nights. We look forward to returning... More

An overnight stop on our way down to Portugal. What a good choice! The welcome was very warm and we had a beer in the garden whilst admiring the views to the foothills of the Pyrenees. The room was beautiful and the shower exhilarating. Dinner, in the beautiful restaurant, was one of those great dining experiences that come along not... More

Hotel is located about 15mins drive from St Jean de Luz and 25mins drive from Biarritz; close to all the beaches and coastal towns yet very quiet and calm. The view from the backyard is fantastic; you see rolling valleys dotted with basque houses with the Pyrenees as a backdrop. You can lay down and watch the day (and sometime... More
